Any book suggestions for a junior high boy? He loves to read and this year will be his first on-site stay. I thought about maybe one of the hidden mickey books but not sure if there are others for someone his age to teach him a little about WDW before he comes. Thx!

There are a ton of books about the parks but for a teen if suggest the Kingdom Keepers series. My friend's 17 year old daughter has loved reading them. They don't contain information but they are fun!

I got a bunch of different books on this topic for Christmas. I haven't gotten a chance to read them all yet but a few you could look into are:

The Thinking Fan's Guide to Walt Disney World: Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World Hidden History
Project Future

I know I have more but they are still packed from my last trip and I can't remember their names. If you look these books up on Amazon, there will be bunches of more suggestions too. There are a lot of memoirs that are easy-reading but some of them have topics that you may not find appropriate for a middle school kid, so be aware of that.

The Imagineering Field Guides are nice if he is into behind the scenes type information. It's like a book version of "DVD Extras" for the parks, and these are small in size -- easy to take with for something to read while in line.
