I was wondering if anyone who has celebrated their birthday or someone elses at WDW wouldn't mind showing me photo's of the cake, cupcake, or dessert :mickeybar that they received and where the b-day was celebrated. I'm trying to get ideas for our trip in Dec. Thanks!

Let's see if I can do this.

Can anyone give me an estimate on what these cakes might cost. And how we go about ordering and having it delivered to out hotel??

Thanks for any info you can provide.

I'd love to have that information as well. We will be celebrating 2 birthdays during our visit there in September!! :Pinkbounc

For the life of me I can't figure out how to post a photo, but I can tell you we paid $28.10 for my DD's b-day cake that we got from WL room service. :)
It was a very good cake...marble cake, chocolate musse filling and butter cream icing.

I ordered a cake from the WL bakery this past December. If I remember correctly it was white, with rasberry filling and buttercream frosting. It was $47.00 I think. I didn't buy the smallest one, but the next largest one. There were six of us and it was WAY too much cake. We ended up throwing half of it away. And that was with eating it for breakfast the next day too!! LOL!! We are not big cake eaters, but it was VERY GOOD!!

Here's one my DS got for his birthday from LeCellier at Epcot. It was free!

Some of the better WDW restaurants will give you a small cake with a candle (or crossed candles for an anniversary in our case) if you tell them you are celebrating a birthday, but there is no guarantee that they will do it.

We received such a cake (8" round chocolate cake with creme filling and covered with chocolate) for our 25th anniversary dinner at Artist Point. "Happy Anniversary" was written in choclate on the plate. The cake reminded me of a high quality Hostess cupcake. Yum! It was a very nice touch. That was about four years ago. I don't know if they still do this.

I want to say the 8" cake is $40 and the 6" is $25 (the Mickey head was $40 too, I think) from GF bakery. A 6" would easily satisfy 4, if not 6. DW and I were eating a lot of cake for a number of days with the 8" cakes. And we're big cake eaters.

Birthday cupcakes at restaurants are usually free.

Does it make anyone else a little sad that the CMs who put together this cake (looks yummy, btw) spelled "Le Cellier" wrong?!? :sad2:

We are staying at AKL and celebrating 2 bdays while there. What bakery do we order a cake from? Anyone have a phone number?
Thx!! :flower:
