Inspired by the worst dressed list!

What do you wear to look cute and comfy in WDW?

Any places that you turn to again and again for great vacation clothes?

I'm always looking for comfy, trendy, in style clothing to wear in WDW, especially shoes and capris!

I love the land's end land and water shoes, I have 3 pairs in pink coral, sky blue and white. Looking at the green ones now, lol!

I usually wear capris and tees or polo shirts, with occasional sundresses thrown in for dinners out.

I don't wear shorts often at all, so I prefer to stick with capris. I find the denim ones to be really hot, but its hard to find nice structured ones that have great lines but won't make you sweat to death. And I hate baggy, saggy ones.

So, what are your WDW "DO's" (as opposed to "Don't" 's )

:cloud9:

May stir up some controversy here, but I think I would put my pink Red Sox hat on my must have, best dressed list!! ;)

Also my Airwalks!! :)

ooh! I love this thread already! I find that the key for me is cotton. Cotton is breathable for when it's hot and dries quickly! I usually wear any kind of cotton capris ( perhaps even a super light denim depending....)from Old Navy. I don't care if their like khaki, or gauchos (my new favourite!), or sweat-pant types! And then on top, a cute cotton tank. I prefer them to have some kind of embellishment (like a flower, cute saying, design, beading, sparkles). I can easily wear my bathing suit under that! Then, as long as it matches my outfit, I top it off with my #12 Brady N.E. Patriots cap...if not then my plain white baseball cap ( if I feel like wearing a hat). On my feet, I am the girl who lives in flip-flops until it snows so it's some kind of flip flops. Most of mine this year have fun sequins on them (I have a pair in silver, gold, black, pink and blue!), so I'd add those and be off....my only worry this fall is finding a new cute carry-all bag for in the parks.
For DTD, it a sundress and flipflops and a cute matching purse! Same generally if I'm out at night at PI or citywalk at Universal! :thumbsup2
these sound like good ideas? Any suggestions otherwise?

my trick with the flipflops to make them even better, is to take the little insole things you can buy at drugstores, cut them up and crazyglue them down where they hit the parts of my feet that like some extra padding! then, comfy and cute!
Oh yeah, and I stock up on skirts that have the built in shorts underneath...more comfy and no chance of giving someone a little surprise they don't need...*lol* :thumbsup2

these skirts are especially great if you are having to bend over to pick children up. No chance of showing your **s.

I found a pair of cropped jeans/capris at LLBean which I bought for our trip 3 weeks ago. They are very lightweight, not too tight or baggy and they were very comfortable. They look like denim but sure didn't feel like it. If you'd like, I'll find the link for you. :) I like Lands End too, but end up going with LLBean to get the free shipping with my LLBean credit card.

My faves are Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, and Cold water creek (only if on clearance.) Every now and then CWC will send an email with 50% off their site. Love the sales.
I just saw the croc flip flop today. I will have to purchase a pair this week before my trip in June. :goodvibes

My vote here for Talbots Capris...wide range of colors, most have a little stretch in them so they do not wrinkle easily, and you can get some coordinating t shirts with a slight split at the side that looks a little dressier. Add a jeans jacket for the cool mornings and I always feel like I look pulled together, and ready for those photo ops. I carry our things in a red Vera Bradley -type backpack I got at Target several years ago for $10! It has lasted for many trips.

I saw a cute pair of capris at Eddie Bauer recently. They were lightweight and rolled up at the bottom. I just bought a pair from the Gap but the material is a bit heavy for a hot, Florida day.

I hate wearing shorts so I usually wear capris, skirts, or sundresses. I got a fabulous black cotton skirt from American Apparel that's perfect for travelling. It looks dressy or casual depending on what I'm wearing with it.

My shoes always have to match my outfit. I start out wearing those cute Pumas with the criss-cross velcro thing, and I switch to flip flops when my feet get used to all that walking.
