we always enjoy it more because we can sit back and relax after trudging all over the parks. also if you are flying in from your home, then if you have a delay, or have problems getting in, then you only sacrifice a day at a park rather than missing the ship.

John, how are you doing? When are you and Mom going?

We're cruising DCL on Sept. 8th and we are also going to be staying at WDW, but we are sandwhiching the cruise. We are staying at VWL for a few days, doing the 4 day wonder and then going back to VWL for a few days. We did this last year when we couldn't decide when to stay at WDW, and it was great. I'm glad we did it that way because if we didn't we'd have had post cruise depression!!!

At first we were going to fly in on the Sept. 6th, and fly home on the 15th after the cruise, now were thinking of flying in on the 12th the day of the cruise and fly home on the 21st, giving us a day to rest.

Disneychic I will look into the sandwhiching it. Thanks

Hi Sue, our $99.00 cruise date is Sept. 12th and we got athe room 2 doors down from the Jan trip, try to get the same room.
Moms doing good, driving me Crazy, she already talking about her vist to the Hard Rock Cafe, her 15th one, my 25th. I also talk her into trying a new resort this trip now that Dixie is no longer Dixie, my do Caribbean Beach or for $204.00 (more each per stay) try the Wilderness Lodge. We are now going to try a new resort each trip from now on.
So how are you doing, and whens your cheep cruise?
Take Care & Thanks

Smoe and Dakota won't be with me, so I am taking a good friend instead. We are getting a cat four, but i don't know the room number yet.

Kathy (Tinkerkat), her Mom and her five year old will also be on the same cruise too, so I am hoping that we can run into them.

I can't wait. I really like the countdown clocks!

Tell your Mom hi, and keep in touch!

We like to sandwich the cruise between WDW stays the cruise is so much fun it is anticlimatic (sp) to go right back home.

Steve

We're "sandwiching" this time too, because we couldn't decide! Last year we did WDW before the cruise, and it's so sad to have to go right home when you get off the ship.

We arrive at PO Riverside on Dec. 4, sail on the 4-day Wonder on Dec. 8, and have two more nights at PO Riverside 12/12-13.

So far, I haven't found anyone else sailing on 12/8. Do you think we'll have the ship to ourselves? ;)

Beth

We sandwiched last year and it was a great time. The week of WDW after the cruise seemed a bit long. This year we're doing WDW 2 weeks prior and ending with a *BANG* - the cruise is perfect after that much time in WDW - 'specially with 3 kids. We can all use the break after shoulder to shoulder in the parks. Maybe if it's just a few days before and a few after, it wouldn't be so bad.

We have sat our dates, and what works best for us this trip is WDW after the cruise, and fly home on SAt, os I have Sunday to rest before going back to work:(

Thanks for all the advise, will keep it in mind for our Sept. 2003 trip and 7 Day Wester cruise.

Wow, seems like lots of us have "sandwhiched" I wonder how many people do this?? I think I'll start a thread and find out!
