WDW: Before and after kids

First, congratulations on *thinking* about starting a family, too many people jump in without even thinking about it!

What is different for us...

We get up early, the kids are normally up and ready to go by 6:30am, no matter how late we keep them out the night before.

We take our time and there is no rush rush rush from ride to ride, it's too stressful for the children.

We leave the parks from 2pm-5pm for a rest.

We stay out until about 9pm and then are back at the resort for baths and bed.

We prefer a house or condo so when the kids are sleeping we can still swim or play pool or whatnot.

I for one can't wait for the added bonus of reading trip reports about the skinny, kinky haired girl, her man and the rugrat. Get busy chickie!

I'm getting busy, hold ya horses! Funny though because someone on the CB asked for a birth story when the baby comes out. They seem to think I'll be honest. Or entertaining maybe? Definitely not funny because there ain't nothing hilarious about an event that requires two hairdos.

And don't you know the child will look just like me - all skinny and big haired? And big mouthed. I think I will call our first family visit to the Mouse "The Kinky Frizzies Visit WDW! Oh and Dad was There Too. We Think."

How much I enjoyed reading your trip reports. DD asked me more than once why I was laughing!

I've never down WDW with or without children, so I've got nothing there, but anything that involves seeing your child light up with joy is 15 times more fun that something that just makes you happy. And have no fear, children only have to have one drink of a crown and coke before they realize they should ASK before drinking mommy's drink!

We cant wait to start our family and pass on the disney magic!
But it does sound like the trips will be very different from the ones we have been taking as a couple!
