WDW at Christmas... suggestions.

A fleece jacket, a hooded windbreaker, light gloves, and lightweight long underwear (we bring silk). It does get colder in the evenings sometimes, and those will keep you warm waiting for parades, etc., and they take up very little room in a bag or a coat pocket. Bulky coats are a PITA to drag around mid-day when it's warmer.

We have a 3 ft. fiber-optic tree that I bought at Target some years ago. It has a lighted revolving base, so it does not need ornaments and looks lovely turning at night in the room. Taken apart and with the top branch folded down, it easily fits diagonally in our 27" pullman suitcase on top of the clothes. We bring the tree because we always leave for home on Xmas Day, so we want it for the morning.

Since you will have a car, I would suggest checking out ICE at the Gaylord Palms resort! It is really nice!!! All kinds of life size Christmas scenes carved out of ice! At the end, there are some ice slides you can slide down - kids and adults!!

We saw it a few years ago, and I'm hoping to be able to see it again this year! They do provide coats for everyone, and they do request you wear closed toe shoes (like tennis). It gets COLD!!!!

Google it and you can get an idea of what it's like!

Have a great trip!!!!

We are going december 2015 for our first trip at christmastime. I've been going to disney since I was a baby nearly every year except for a break of about 5 years, but I wasn't sure what to expect for christmas... great posts guys! I'm even more excited now! :)
