WDW Arrival Surprise

Hi everyone. I need help. We are going to WDW for the first time on May 8,2009 for a 10 day stay. I have 2 DD. I want to surprise my DD's (17,12), & DH with mickey ears with their names. I also would like to place other suveniors in the room for them. Does anyone know how to do this? We are going to stay at the POP Century hotel and arrive at 7am. Also what other gifts can I leave them? Thanks in advance.

Hi!

There is a good chance you will not be able to get into your room at 7am. (Rooms are said to be ready after 3pm). You can "check-in" at the front desk & get your park tickets then & your room key though. The front desk will give you a number to call later & find out when your room is ready.

You can't have anything waiting in your room for you upon your arrival because until the front desk actually tells you your room number, there is no way of knowing which room will be yours.

You can though, arrange to have items sent to your room after you have moved into your room. Many people use the Disney Florist & they come highly recommended.

There are other ways to do room decorations or surprises though. This is from the Mickey Moms Club website:

Thanks Everyone. I went to the site and have decided on the welcome gift with mickey, blanket, ect. We are also having the desk clerk surprise the family with the personalized mouse ears. Thanks for the help.

I used Memories by Betsy this past summer for my dd's birthday trip. She was awesome and MUCH less expensive than the Disney Florist!
