WDW and SeaWorld visits

Would you stay in a disney area resort or in a seaworld area resort ?

I'd choose Disney!

I'd stay at Disney too. Unless you were doing a few days at each, then I'd stay at 2 hotels.

We are staying 5 nights at POR for the first part of the trip already.
For the second part of the trip, on the last 3 days, we plan to go to SeaWorld for 2 days and another day at a Disney park.

Hence the question .... where will be the most convenient to stay in, with or without a car. Either way, I have to commute to one of the parks.

Value room resort at WDW are $82 per night which is comparable to SeaWorld area hotels. If we choose disney resort, we will not take advantage of the free dining plan anymore because we still have an extra day park tix.

PLEASE keep your comments and recommendations coming ....

We are now staying at RI Sea world for 5 nights and doing SW and Aquatica and also one day at Epcot. Then we are switching to either CBR or somewhere else near Disney to do MK and a few more things(beach, Kennedy Space Center) for 4 nights.
If I were you I'd stay closer to SW for the last few nights. I hate driving back and forth. Maybe you could get a suite for the same price as POP and have more space.
You could rent a car from the car care center at Disney for your last few days and return it to the airport.

Residence Inn is on my list of SeaWorld Hotels .. if you do not mind, did you get a good rate from them ? Did you book directly or via these internet sites ?

We are also going to Kennedy Space Centre but right after 5 nights at POR.
Will stay overnight at Cocoa Beach (no decision on what hotel yet - any recommendation ??) then to the gulf side for several more days.

I went to the SW site and booked the buy 3 get 5 package. I had been trying to get RI for a while, and it finally came up last night. There are other hotels to choose from also. I think the deal is thru Sept. 7th. You also get 14 day passes to SW and Aquatica.

Its a personal choice..we stayed at the SW Rennassiance. I try to limit driving when I am on vacation, so I want to stay right next to parks even outside of Disney. We got a great rate at the Rannassiance by reserving and checking back periodically prior to departure..capturing a great deal.
