WDW 2008, just us and the weans - NOW WITH PICS!!!

I'm caught up now! Wow I love the picture of your daughter in her skating outfit. She is BEAUTIFUL!

Sounds like ice skating is doing for her what dancing did for my daughter. Building confidence! :thumbsup2 :)

Cool back to school pictures. Your kids look so cute. Love the brainwashing! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: I mean seriously, we could be doing a lot worse if than still loving Disney right? :rotfl:

I think I gain a few pounds each time I look at the food porn threads don't you? I swear my jeans fit tighter. :lmao: I dont care though they are all delicious looking!

That reminds me of something my Mother would say, and DH tells me I am turning into her. My Stepdad's favorite was when they were at the TX State Fair and a man was ice skating, but he had this additional fake leg so he looked like he had 3 legs. Well my mother said this, "Wow, the little guy in there must be really hot!"

I am starting to do this same thing, mouth works before the brain can process it all. Verbal diarhea is a perfect term. I think it is a form of ADHD!

Hi Shawna,
I have to agree, she is beautiful, but then I'm biased! She is much more confident now, but the school has really helped her. She has been getting speech therapy from age 4 (common in twins, but usually with the boys :confused3 ), and has had lots of support through school which has really brought her out her shell! :goodvibes
I LOVE the food porn threads - my stomach starts rumbling! I want to try everything! :rotfl:
Nothing wrong with a bit of Disney brainwashing I say!
We pre ordered out photo pass CD today :woohoo: And went to town today and the kids each chose a book to take on holiday to read. DS chose a 'Horrid Henry' - sort of like Dennis the Menace, and DD chose a Rainbow Fairy book 'Heather the Violet Fairy' :cutie: Will get some colouring/puzzle books for them as well and hopefully we'll be sorted for the flight! Got to keep them occupied!

Hi Melissa,
It's good to know I'm not alone!
Just call me Cletus! ;) I used to blame things like that on the fact I worked night shifts a lot, but since I changed job I don't have that excuse anymore! :rotfl:

Hi Amy,
I've got my shopping list already - don't worry ;) We're also planning on buying the kids Nintendo DS's whilst we're there - shh, don't tell them :thumbsup2 I posted another thread asking if Virgin stocked them at DTD, and some kind DISer said WallMart stock them a bit cheaper too! :cool1:
As DH reminded me - I'm not quite in single digits yet - another 8 days to go. Near enough for me! :rolleyes1
I love Suite Life too, not seen the ghost one yet, will need to keep an eye out for it!
The kids are enjoying school - their teacher seems nice from what they say. :goodvibes
I'm trying to remain calm about the tickets - they always arrive about 10 days before, but I just worry about my WDW holiday! :cloud9:

Keep posting!

Wal Mart does have them, lots of colors, they are $129.99 each, which I think is a good deal. We have 5 DS's, one for each of us;) Yes, the mamas too  They are going to be so happy. You should stock up on accessories while there too, game cases, ds cases, extra sylus, etc.

And btw, when I'm in the teens like you are, I'm going to be so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I need to look into the Rainbow Fairy books for Dd. We have not gotten any of them and I've heard they are Fabulous.

Photopass CD. Why can't I remember to order that! :lmao:

Your trip is so close. :woohoo: I'm so excited for you. :woohoo: How packed are you now? Suitcases out? Piles yet? Or are you like me and start on the last day with lists? :lmao:

Hi Amy,
Thanks for that! Will stock up for sure - don't think we'll go for one each though! :thumbsup2

Hi Shawna,
just been over to your PTR!
You should definately get the Photopass - I wasn't sure about it, but the more I've checked it out, the better it sounds!
Not packed as yet! Have sat out the piles of clothes though - will get the suitcases down from the loft middle of next week! :cool1:
We're getting so close now!
Tickets haven't arrived yet though! :scared: I like to get mine early. Phoned the travel company yesterday (yes, I'm paranoid), they said they're due to get posted any day. Won't be able to fully relax until I have them in my hands though! I mean, Disney posted out our MNSSHP party tickets from Florida after 2 days of ordering!

Can't wait to get to Florida! It's raining here again! :sad2: It's been a pretty awful summer here, so I need to get to the sun! :sunny:
I know it's been raining in Orlando too, but at least it's warm there!

Have had a fairly quiet summer here, just day trips here and there.

In August we went to the TAMBA (Twins and Multiple Birth Assoc) Scotland family day at Blair Drummond Safari Park (our local version of AK). And it rained! Luckily not for too long, but it was very dull!

It was still a good day though, and the kids had a great time!

This was the 'thrill ride' - not exactly Everest is it! :rotfl2: Note the dark clouds!! Summer in Scotland :rotfl:

Was just on AZMickeyfans PTR (very good, you should check it out if you haven't already!), and Shawna had mentioned BB would be closed for refurbishment when she's going.
Just checked WDW website and it closes the day after we visit! :goodvibes The kids will be happy they won't miss it!
DS says he wants to try the fishing hole at POR, so we'll need to try that out!

Love the pics from your day at the park. Those are some "Wild Animals in Transit"!.:rotfl:

Now see, I think I would love Scotland. I am really weird and love rainy days! Clouds don't really bother me.

Would love to see more pics from your area!

Hi Melissa,

You should definately come visit Scotland if you get the chance! Don't get me wrong - I may slag it off (mainly because of the weather - but it rains here a LOT:umbrella: ), but I LOVE it! It is truly one of the most beautiful countries in the world. :cloud9:
I'll post some more pictures, DH is a keen amateur photographer and he has taken loads locally.
We are really lucky here, Prestwick is a beach town (I love being by the sea!), but you are never too far from the countryside either!

I would love to see pics of Scotland :)

Looks like a fun day, the slide looks very fun, but no, it doesn't compare to EE :rotfl:

Love the kids' shirts:goodvibes

Aww, great pictures...I love the kids in their Thing 1 and Thing 2 shirts. My sister and I got those when we went to Universal (hey, everyone else had them so we had to be a part of it too! hehe).

Awesome pictures! I love the cage ones! You guys are so cute.

The slide looks like a good version of EE to me. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I could see you all pretending to see the Yeti and screaming at the same time! :rotfl2:

Yes, we all need to see pictures of Scotland! I have always wanted to go there. I am sure we will all resort to begging if we are forced. :lmao:

Glad BB is open while you are there. :thumbsup2 Thanks for the shoutout! One good turn deserves another! :goodvibes

OK, as requested, here are some photos of local beauty spots DH has taken. :thumbsup2

Hope you enjoy them! If you ever get a chance to visit - definately take it!

Thank you for the local pics. Oh, I want to go so badly. And Jake looks like a great dog! How does he feel about your trip to WDW?

We've not told him yet! Luckily my mum and dad will take him - they just live round the corner. No need for kennels! Will leave him stocked up with plenty of chews and treats! :guilty:
Glad you liked the pics!

HI! I was refered over here by AZMickeyfans/Shawna, and I'm thoroughly enjoying your PTR. You have a great sense of humor. I had to laugh at the comment about your DH having a picture of his friend at the ESPN zone, to keep him company. :lmao:

I love all of your family pictures, and love the ones of your beautiful country.

Looks like you are on the countdown! Yay! :yay:
