We would like to eat at WCC on our upcoming trip and read that it would be a good place to eat on the day you are visiting MK. You can take the boat over and then return when done eating. Is this possible or too time consuming? Thanks.

It is very possible! Wilderness Lodge is very close to MK, and it is a very short bus ride or boat ride to get there.

WCC is alot of fun!! They have fantastic food and its a great atmosphere...Wilderness Lodge is also a beautiful hotel with a lot of great photo-ops!! :thumbsup2

Hope you have a great trip!

If you are talking about Whispering Canyon yes you can take a boat over and it does not take much time at all unless you are trying to get on the boat at park closing when thousands of other folks are. We will be doing exactly what you are proposing when we go in September!

The boat ride over is part of the whole Disney experience. If you time your dinner right you can catch the elecric water parade from the beach of the hotel. I know you will not regret your choice.

For a little change, we're gonna try WCC for a BIG skillet breakfast & then head over to MK on our upcoming trip. We're all adults & early risers, so we'll probably eat there b4 MK opens.

We have eaten there for dinner many times. I'm not a fan of bbq, so we figure this way we still can enjoy the atmosphere but have a lot of food that we all like. :goodvibes

How does it sound to park at MK, take the boat to WL, then go back to MK for evening fun and Wishes?

Something to keep in mind that I saw mentioned in another thread...

Taking the boat or bus from MK to WL is great idea, but don't try to do it on a night when the MK closes early and you have a later dinner reservation at WCC...it may be too late after dinner for there to be any transportation back to MK!:scared:

Of course, you could still get transportation from WL to the TTC, DTD, or somewhere else on Disney property that is still open. :thumbsup2
