WCC @ WL - can you get a table w/o an ADR ?

Not sure if we are going to eat where where are staying (WL) or where we might be one night.

If we decide to eat at our resort, WL, then can we get a table at WCC as a walk-up, no ADR ?

We will be at WL the last week of June.

Would Artist Point be worth the extra $$'s ?

When we were there in May, you could not get a walk-up at WCC. You could get a "same day" ADR.

The last week of June is VERY Busy at WDW. You should make an ADR...they are free and you can always cancel it later.

We didnt know about WCC until we got there 3 years ago and decided to try it after talking to someone in the parks. We called ADR number and asked about dining and they set us up that night You really should try WCC, it is so much fun!

We have an 8:20 PM dinner ADR.
Just seeing if we can bump it up an hour - like 7:30 PM

We'll keep calling and see if there is a cancellation - or when we get to WL, we will keep asking.

You might also stop by the Territory Lounge for drinks and appetizers before your ADR (it's right next door). 8:20 can be kind of late to wait to eat! Good luck!

Last summer I called to see if there was any availability and was told no. We decided to just arrive and take our chances and were seated right away! It was great!!

Absolutely. It's one of the top restaurants in all of WDW. We eat there every trip and have never been disappointed. Last Thursday, we had an ADR for 6 p.m., and were seated within moments at a window seat (we requested it when we walked up and got lucky). It's a leisurely paced meal which we enjoy, and by 8 p.m., there were several open tables--I counted 11 open tables (all the way from 2-tops to seating for 10) when we left at 8:30. Honestly, I hope people continue to overlook AP as I want it for my wife and myself. . .
