Would you suggest lunch at WCC or dinner at 50'sPT? Will be traveling with 4 adults and 4 kids (ds 10, ds 7, ds 5, dd 1). Which of the two do you think they would enjoy better? Also, it will not be on ddp will be oop, which is better price? TIA

My family really enjoys the WCC. We had a fantastic time and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the Wilderness lodge. We did not have a great meal at 50's PT, and our server was not into the antics so we did not enjoy our meal there, plus we are not crazy about the meal selections at 50's PT. My DD's had a great time with the pony races and things at WCC. They really got a kick out of the LARGE drink they brought DH and the announcement to the restaurant about getting out of his way so he could go to the restroom. Have fun planning its half the fun!:)

love both these and next trip would have to include both.

Perhaps kids would prefer WCC but try to do both if you have time

I would say with kids in the group, you should go with WCC. The pony races, "ketchup" gags, and overall atmosphere is sure to be a hit with adults and kids.

Having said that, my family makes sure we eat at the 50's Prime Time Cafe everytime we go. We always get a big laugh out of the "abrupt" table service and the trivia questions are always fun.

OP, the good news is....no matter which you choose you're going to really enjoy it!!!! ;)

I've been to both and I've been back several times since I really enjoyed both places. Either place you go, you'll have lots of fun, especially the kids.

If I had to pick one, I would say Whispering Canyon Cafe. Both restaurants are very interactive, but Whispering Canyon is one big room, so you see everything that's going on with the other tables, and everyone gets to join in on all the fun. And I love when people have to ride one of the ponies. One time, my friend in our group who was 21 had to ride it because he was the only one who had never been to the restaurant before. It was a riot watching him ride around the restaurant. Also, we all really seem to "pig out" at WCC because we always order the skillet and keep getting refills, and we love the bottomless milkshakes and large sodas!

The 50's PT Diner is a "have to"! We love everything about it! :goodvibes While the little ones might not understand the decor, they will enjoy the fun servers and silly things that either they, or the grown ups, "have" to do, and the viewmaster reel of desserts is fun as well!
