for those that have gone to WCC for both lunch and dinner ..
which do you prefer and why ??? My colleague is going with his kids in a few weeks and asked me if I have ever gone there.. and nope , I have never...

he started to think now that lunch would be better because with his kids , he is also bringing 2 of his kids friends for this meal... so price wise for him it would be better since he is paying OOP....

Is there a major difference in food also...?? (He is assuming lunch price is cheaper than dinner, otherwise, he would just go for dinner easily..)
comments , opinions ??? thanks !

It is cheaper at lunch for sure. So if he's looking to save, esp if he's paying OOP, i would go for lunch. The difference with the skillet at lunch and dinner is minor....both are the same except at dinner additionally they serve salad, pulled pork, and beef brisket. At lunch you would not get those 3 things. A la carte items at dinner is also a bit different. Check the menu on this site to compare.

How are their lunch sandwiches? I have a lunch ressie upon my arrival to WL, and rather than go to the food court, I figured I'd go there and get a burger or sandwich. This way, I can get to try the place.

Some of the "extra entertainment" antics are usually not done during lunch. Like "asking for the ketchup". But the food should be about the same.

Are there any *extra antics* at all during lunch? We are booked here for a late lunch & I haven't told DH/DS about the *extras* as wanted it to be a surprise for them:laughing:

:wave2:Anyone?:)

I've been to WCC twice for dinner... 2008 and 2010. There are lots of older threads about lunch vs. dinner. Based on those threads and that it is fairly easy to get a lunch reservation... and VERY difficult to get a dinner reservation... assume that WCC is not crowded at lunch and much quieter. Most people are probably out at the parks.

Now dinner both times has been packed with people (that's a good thing) with lots of fun antics, hokey pokey, and fun stuff. If you are looking for fun antics... go for dinner. It is expensive....

Personally, for the price.... I think Hoop Dee Doo would be a lot more fun for kids and adults. Our bill at WCC for 2 adults and 1 child would have been $119 (we were on the dining plan). We all ordered the skillet, 2 appetizers, and dessert. I have no idea how the bill came to $119... we didn't order any alcohol.
