WC in WL or Trails End FW?

We were thinking of going to WL to see Christmas decor while we are at MK. We were thinking of having lunch and always wanted to try Trails End at FW. Should we try WC instead? This way we would avoid another ride to FW or is the ride short enough and is the Trails End worth it? We have a 4 yr. old and 6 yr. old.

never timed it but there isn't a lot of distance between the 2 so I would guess maybe 10 mins by boat tops??(including stops)...we like trails end, it is not anything like wc( from what i hear), pretty peaceful anytime we have been and a nice petting zoo right beside it( to the left looking at TE) and a nice nature walk if you want to escape the parks for a little while (between the trading post and the beach area if memory serves). if you want it as some "down time" I think it would be good where as it sounds like WC is a little more chaotic.going to try WC this time as well as returning to TE,as usual )

We have eaten at both several times. The lunch activities at the Whispering Canyon can, at times, be much more subdued than the dinner hours' activities. Therefore, I would boat over to the Trail's End, have a nice lunch, and take a look around. The boat ride is very short and children seem to love it.

They are both pretty good, just different atmospheres. WC is a sit down order off the menu kinda silly place. But their lunches are good! TEB is a buffet with pretty good food.

If your main plan is to see the decorations at WL, then you might want to just stay there and go to WC. It is a short ride to FW from WL, but you'll still have to wait for the boat.
