Just rented a WC accessible van from Rainbow Wheels\Wheelchair Vans of America and wanted to share our experience.

The reservation process was pretty easy. I called to check the rates and availability and they emailed me a form to fill out and send back. It just under $1,000 for the week, which is a little more than what we have paid before with another company, but we wanted to give another company a try.

The van delivery was VERY smooth. They dropped off the van right on time at our hotel (stayed at the Sheraton Suites at OIA because of a late arrival). They were able to rent us a Honda Odyssey, touring edition. I had put a note in the rental agreement that we prefer the Honda. This is the same van we have at home, so that was a HUGE plus. There were some signficant damage inside, most likely due to moving the seats in and out, but overall, in very good condition. This alone was worth the extra price. We could actually hear each other speak while the van was moving. They offered to show how the van works a few times, but that wasn't necessary.

No problems with the van during the rental time. The ramp was just a little "sticky" a couple times, but never failed to deploy. All other features of the van worked just fine.

Returning the van was pretty easy too. They met us at the curbside at OIA. We were about 15 minutes so I had a wait a little bit, but they arrived 5 minutes before the set time.

Overall, I would highly recommend this company. :thumbsup2
