Is there no WBTA this year? It seems pretty far out for it to be cancelled. Doesn’t it usually sail in November?

It was originally scheduled to depart Dover on September 10th but was cancelled ages ago, I can't remember on which round of cancellations. The UK Magic at Sea UK Residents sailing are scheduled until October 1, and the next scheduled cruise is October 14th 2021 - 5-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bermuda Cruise from New York (Bermuda)

There has been no word yet on a new passenger transatlantic, or if The Magic will just go back to USA with crew only, or if there will be more cancellations and The Magic staying in Europe for another winter.

If the CDC won't allow cruises of more than 7 nights and the WBTA docks in the U.S. I imagine that even if they wanted to, they're not able to (at this point in time).

One of the items of the conditional sail order was that they couldn't have cruisers longer than 7 days that arrived/departed from/to US ports. That happened a few months ago. Some other sailings were taken down then also such as an 8 night caribbean. I don't know whether the westbound TA has been officially cancelled or not but it hasn't been bookable for some time now. Since they have UK sailings available past the point of the original TA date I think we can safely assume that it will be cancelled if it hasn't been already.

We were supposed to be on this years WBTA and it was officially cancelled on April 6th. I’m curious to see if they will be adding a last minute crossing or sail back with no guests.

No guests. There isn't a chance in the world they're going to host a double digit length cruise this fall.
