I'm not "allowed" to post my sister's pics on FB... but she didn't say I couldn't post them here...

Here's my latest of Evelyn... teeth and all!

Thanks! She looks just like her dad at that age. I wish I could get my hands on her and spoil her silly, but I have to leave that up to Brian:goodvibes...

Today... Emma got her first apartment. She'll be in Hoboken - she wants to be where all the action is... and she's right across the river from NYC...

Just got back home from WDW/Magic cruise. :cloud9: It was great to see Monica and so sorry that Deb and John could not make the planned meet. Next trip! We liked most of the changes on the Magic. Loved AP on Pirate night. Settling in for winter. We hope to make it to DL in Feb for Dennis' birthday.:woohoo:

Welcome home :cheer2:

Glad you had a good time.

We are in Branson Missouri for a celebration of Veterans who went on trips to battlefields etc from their period of service with groups of students fromCollege of the Ozarks including a tree planting. A foundational principal of the school is patriotism and it shows. Tom's Dad was honored. He went last March to a WWII parade and ceremony as well as touring places he was stationed in England. Princess Anne was the royal who reviewed the troops as they marched.' He commented that he never saw anyone salute with such appreciation and form than she.

http://www.cofo.edu. Quite an amazing school. Kids all have campus jobs learning skills and paying expenses so they do not graduate with huge debts.

We head home today.

Looks like a college I would like my kids to attend! There are several around the country that charge no tuition. Amazing!

Glad to see everyone back!

I'll be on in a few days... just had an incredible experience... and things are finally looking up!!!

But I haven't really slept in 4 days & I'm tired!!!

Time to go home... I think mom missed me... (and I hope she's cooking dinner.. I need a good meal!!!)

Angie... got pics of the magic to post? I bet she looks really good now!

Not like she didn't before!

I don't know how to post photos on DIS. Old, computer illiterate. We liked the new look though. Liked everything except the set up of the buffet. Left a comment on that. We loved the new linens and the carpet in the staterooms is very cushy. Nice, nice. We will be back onboard in October and cannot wait.

Jan... one of my dis friends, Carla, gifted me a weekend with Tony Robbins... the life coach... She couldn't go - had a conflict with the dates... so... I went to Jersey... did 50 hours of work in 4 days...(with 5000 of my new closest friends... :rotfl: (they came from 44 different countries...) worked through a lot of issues I needed to and have come home feeling very good about things...

& the amazing thing about it all...

I've never met Carla... not in person at least... I met her through some other thieves... :goodvibes

But we do have plans to meet! :cheer2::cheer2:

I attended a Tony Robbins one day event some years ago. It was a pretty inspiring day.:thumbsup2

I wasn't sure what it was going to be all about... and after some of the exercises he took us through... I was amazed at how much clearer I could see things and I think it's going to help in making some decisions going forward.

I didn't do the fire walk... (like Oprah did)... I figured I had some pre-existing conditions I didn't want to bother... but many did and they said it was something they will never forget...

& what I liked also was that they had us up and dancing and moving a lot - it made it much easier...

Planky also thought it was quite inspiring... but wanted to bail out on day one when he found out they didn't offer a 24 hour buffet... :rotfl:

I am glad it was meaningful for both of you. I never heard of him but when I saw Planky's facebook post of the picture I looked him up enough to have half a clue.

Best wishes as you start forward on the next part of your journey :goodvibes

There were some speakers I really enjoyed at the one I went to. Lou Holtz and Barbara Bush are two I think of right off.

Yeah... he really brings along people from all backgrounds to speak...

Jan... this is a youtube that shows what he's like... He did work like this along with course work and in the middle he got us up and danced and hugged and high fived each other...

(he does mention Its a small world...)

Angie - glad you liked the "new" Magic - would love a more indepth review if you ever get the chance/time/inclination :) Did you have any issues?

Jan - sounds like that was a wonderful tribute to Tom's dad.

Michelle - glad you enjoyed yourself & feel motivated. Make sure you get some rest though, don't want you getting run down.

I am still getting over the cold I got when Angie & Dennis were still in Orlando (I think it started 10/29). Doing the vitamin D3, the B liquid and some OTC to help with the nasal congestion. Hope to knock this out soon.

Had a great visit with Jackie when she was here - even though she slept over at Deb & John's :rotfl2:

We ended up doing the Disney Dream for our birthdays - 11/3-11/7. We boarded on my birthday & disembarked on hers. Weirdest thing ever since we booked it only 8 days before sailing (FL resident rate came out). I didn't really believe it was happening/didn't get excited until we were pulling up to the ship! :lmao:

Hard to believe it's only been 1 week since we left the ship (seems longer) and it's only been 4 days since Jackie went home (Monday).

Saturday & Sunday were spent in Miami with Will & Mickey, touring 2 of NCL's ships (pics posted on fb).

This weekend, I'll be meeting up with Deb & John at Ghiradelli's (Sat), then at their house for dinner on Sunday (with Will & Mickey).
