Thanks guys! Dinner was just ok, but we got home early, so I'm going to try to relax and get to bed early (isn't that my plan every night?) I hope everyone else is relaxing tonight too.

I always try to get to bed early... sleep on the other hand... :headache:

I hope you get some rest! Our day was busy but the evening was relaxing. Tomorrow will be relaxing too. Might try to sneak some cleaning in. And after Tyler goes to his dad's, I will have my first visit to Planet Fitness! If they're open....I think they close early on Sundays. :thumbsup2

Sure... early on sundays... :rolleyes1

Just checked, I get to go! They do close early on weekends. Early compared to the rest of the week when they don't close at all. :) BUT, they're open until 9 tomorrow night, so plenty of time for me to get in. Can't wait to use one of their massage chairs or hydromassage after!

Good luck Holly!!! ^ would be me... :rotfl:

That will probably be me too! My membership includes a free guest, so I've coerced a friend into joining me. She's really afraid of exercising in public, but hopefully she won't back out on me.

Quiet day here...

working on some cool ties for a friend of mine (one of Bendy's friendies) who has breast cancer. the meds she's on will cause hot flashes... sooo... I had to go out and find some mickey fabric...

I can't believe that we made 120 of those things for the PC cruise... never again!!! :scared:

Ties? What ties did you make for the PC cruise?

I wish my eye twitch would go away. It's been a month.

And....I'm craving a tuna sandwich.

That's all. I've got a sandwich to make and eat.

eyestrain?

That's usually what's happening when you have twitches... lots of reading at work?

I don't know, I've never had this happen before. Not even in college with hours and hours reading. I haven't had an increase in reading. Oh well, it's really just an annoyance. I'll survive. I'll just chalk it up to everything falling apart in my 40s. ;)

Holly...

Sorry to be the one to break it to you...

Join the club... You're old... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Before long you're gonna be checking out the reading glasses at Walmart and you'll end up with 4 extra.. they'll be pretty much butt ugly... but what do you want for $10..... ;)

The concert Willie and I went to was the Colburn Academy conducted by Dudamel - it was wonderful -one of the clarinet players was a prior high school student of Wilson's instructor (she also instructions @ the high school he hopes to attend) We were lucky enough to meet the principal oboe player as well a he was very gracious - a home schooled student through high school - then attended Juilliard for his BA and now at Colburn working on his Masters. The great thing about studying at Coburn is - if accepted for oboe it is a free ride !!! We could only hope that Wilson could be that good when and if he is ready for college - but ya never know :)
All and all the concert was a fabulous experience and we will for sure add it to our list of things to do again when we make our trips to Disneyland - as the tickets are reasonable and every seat in the house is good so well worth going for any ticket :)

Sorry for being so slow to reply - I'm not much for being here these days - it's hard to read on my iPhone -Facebook is much easier ... And posting is making my hand cramp ... Getting old - ugggghhh

Hey Deb...I didn't put a time limit on the poll.

OK so that probably means that this poll is going to stay until the end. We can start a new poll on the next thread. I'm just assuming this. I have not had any response to my question about polls on the tech boards. But we'll wait some more and see. :confused3:confused3:confused3:confused3

I haven't had problems reading the lime green, but can only speak for myself.

Holly- poor Tyler- I hope he got some good sleep last night. My kids were really tired too.

Sorry I haven't been around much. It was a crazy week. They scheduled my surgery for 3/6/13, but still aren't sure how they're getting the tumor out!! Right now, I'm scheduled for both versions of the surgery and they will have to make a final decision this week after another exam. So I'm back in the city on Wednesday and will hopefully get some more answers. It's all very frustrating and nerve wrecking. Josh is coming with me this week and is taking off the day of my surgery, but I don't know how many days he can take off overall. Meanwhile, I've been leaning towards pushing for the abdominal surgery with the mechanical arm so that I can avoid the colostomy bag and the second surgery to remove it, and there were all these commercials on tv yesterday about "bad robot surgery" lawsuits. I can't believe this!

Everyone else is doing well. Olivia had a little show yesterday afternoon with the performance club, and josh and I may get to have dinner together tonight, which would be nice. I'm thinking a lot about what may happen if this surgery doesn't go well and that's weighing on me a lot, so it will be nice if I can take a night to think about happy things with my husband instead.

Take some time to go off by yourself and cry and get it out so that you can feel better and stronger. It's very serious and scary. But you have to stay positive and just know that you can beat this and be well again. You will do that. Be brave and fight for good health and healing. You're a winner and you are going to be fine!!! We are all here for you, sending positive vibes and pixie dust and prayers. Big Hugs and Lots of Love. Keep us updated and we'll keep sending hugs!

Except for one box of things, the bathroom is finished. Now onto the hot tub room. Yes, we have a hot tub room in our house. It's currently empty because the motor doesn't work anymore and we have not gotten it replaced. But we have had many hours of fun in there some years ago.

Right now it's filled with my mother's Christmas boxes. That's what we have to go through next. Wish me luck. I'll want to keep everything. hahaha. But I know that I cannot.

great job with the progress!

The bathroom is completely finished except for last minute items. The hot tub room is only one third finished. We have two boxes of Christmas stuff and lots of garbage. I had my Christmas things and my mom's to go through. It's a lot of stuff. Me and John finished early for the day....3:30pm. We're in pain....legs, knees, back. We have had enough for today. I'm fine with that because we started early, by 9am, and we got a lot done.
