why no bean caserole and thank you:worship: (i guess that means I need to wax soon)

We went and saw Beverly Hills Chihuahua tonight, it was very funny :rotfl:
Tyler wants to see that SOOOOO badly! If we ever have time. We might try this weekend. Can't tonight because we have to deliver popcorn. Maybe tomorrow depending on how long my mom and my aunt hang around because we have to try to sell more popcorn too after they leave. Monday's out because of karate, but maybe Tuesday after trying to sell popcorn.

Or I suppose I could be a nice mom and make popcorn deliveries before I pick up Tyler and we can go today to see the movie after I pick him up from his dad's.

I forgot I wanted to share this picture of the girls, with the items Shaelyn made in her 3 pottery classes. The bowl looks great on our kitchen table filled with apples (unfortunately, the kitchen table is still in our living room :lmao: ) The mug actually works and she is sure proud of it. The 3rd item is the little one Kaleigh is holding. Its a "fruit bowl"; when she told me she was making a fruit bowl, I thought it would be a bowl to hold fruit, but its actually a little bowl of fruit. She made cherries, grapes and bananas inside it.:thumbsup2

Now, I'm really off to bed!
Very cute! :goodvibes Great job Shaelyn!

I forgot to mention, our Blu-Ray edition of Sleeping Beauty arrived the other day.

We watched and it is INCREDIBLE in HD and 7.1 Dolby.

Are we the only Blu-Ray owners here? I ask because there is a special online feature (yes even our HD DVD players, our Playstation 3's are connected to the Internet), where you can schedule a movie night, synchronize players and watch a film together and chat online.

I'd be up for a movie night.
Definitely not me. That's way beyond my technological capabilities. Sounds cool though!

Is it worth round trip airfare?

...just kidding...

Peg sent me a link to a place to have T-day dinner caterd. I nearly had a stroke when I saw the 12-14 pound turkey was $70! :scared1: One pie...$15-18 :scared1: . Turns out it was from the hoity-toity chef at The Citadel....but still :sad2: I think Boston Market does a turkey dinner to go...WITH green bean casserole.

We love the Boston Market holiday meals! One thing we miss about CA was having one 2 miles from our house - here there nearest is 55 miles. So I'm thinking Honeybaked will be catering our Christmas meal - at a much higher price of course.

Morning Thieves pirate:

Peg and I are having lunch with Cheri today! :yay: Guess where? Muffins may be involved.

Ian, if I had enough vacation time left I would so be there for turkey day! Let's keep next year in mind ::yes:: (and we can reminisce about our Tortola cruise). I have FIVE WEEKS starting next year. This year my ex-sister in law will be coming down the week before thanksgiving for a visit. Can't wait to see her (she's the one Peg and I cruised with for the 3 day in December 07). I've schedule my last two vacation days for her visit.

There was something else I wanted to say...but can't remember. Oh well, I can always come back and post it!

Oh, once again, I love all the photos you kids have been posting!

We'll save you some pie.

(Actually, I make an awesome pumpkin bread pudding and caramel sauce).

Quick ? for those of you who booked thru DU day 1 for the PC cruise - I'm on a wl w/ them for a quote - do they book the res w/ DCL and then send an email w/ the details (deposit to be added later) or do they just get the info and need the deposit $ to even hold the res???

The one time I booked with them, the deposit was due later.

They book it, but as TA's they can hold it without a deposit for a few days. You will get an email from DU with the cost and a time to have sent a deposit. Then they will ask for all the relevant personal information for them to send to DCL and then you will be able to access your reservation on the DCL site. I think we might have had 2 days for the PCRepo, but I can't remember. It wasn't very long.

I'm partial to the oat bran gooey muffin myself.

The bread pudding I make is like no other. It is made with challah, that on it's own tastes almost like cake. The caramel sauce is made with heavy cream. It's incredible.

The turkey is usually free range organic, though this year I'm toying with the idea of preparing a free range organic heritage turkey. The stuffing will be a cranberry, leek and sausage stuffing.

Sounds wonderful.

Thanks Marilyn and Ian

That's why I PM'd you all my assorted contact information...so you can hunt me down right away! Be sure you have the same from Connie.

Also, you could probably solicit a single ladies list for 'stand by' participants :lmao: ::yes::

Oh yumm.
....must focus on grilled shrimp and salad w/strawberries for lunch today...do not become compelled to order turkey dinner with stuffing and gravy....stay focused on light meal....stay focused on light meal....(OK, with SEVERAL slices of that wonderful bread)

Deb - thinking of you right now....Jack Hanna's show is on and they're showing Sea Turtles burying their eggss in the sand...and now the baby turtles are trying to get out to sea.
