Yet another thing to discover on the cold EB TA...those warm tile loungers and hot showers:goodvibes I never did make it to the Rainforest Room either!

Kathe

I had tickets for a day paid for and still never made it to the Rainforest Room. Oh well, next time. We were just crazy busy with Navigator and Mini Navigator activities. I want to relax more on the next cruise. I don't want to be overactive like this one was.

Where's WOODY? I though he had a DCL cruise coming up...they'd better get home and repack.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It's interesting. Not sure if anything happened, but something must have because yesterday, Mr. Energizer Bunny found out that one of his people has been taken away. A little birdie let the info leak out. :rolleyes1

Actually, all I did was email him (he was working from home yesterday) and tell him that I have full confidence that Jen (the new girl) and I can get caught up, as long as the other side of the office leaves her alone and quits bringing her the work their own secretaries aren't doing. He emailed back asking me what the heck is going on. He said, "I thought you both were fully dedicated to me and my side of the office". I told him what has been happening and suddenly, today she was left alone. :rotfl2:

He came in briefly today to drop off more major piles of work, and asked me if we're both working just for him today and I told him yup, no problems anymore. I assume he said something and got his way, yet again. :thumbsup2

Good Job! It sounds like you're working for the right lawyer.

And speaking of friends who travel frequently, I got an e-mail today from a friend who is booking the Med cruise and the Barcelona to Dover cruise and the first Baltic...a B2B2B...a month on the Magic.

Ahhhhhhhhhh.........

Deb  Sorry you are still going through this. Hope this is the year it all clears up and you feel so much better

Kathe

Thanks Kathe, weight loss will help too, but that's a slow process. At least it is in the right direction.

Our Thanksgiving is this weekend! I'm working Sat night until midnight, then Sunday until 2:00 :headache: But then Sara and Trevor and I are going to my SIL's for turkey dinner Sunday :thumbsup2 We are closed on Monday...I am going to sleep in and then start washing, ironing and packing for our trip to WDW in a few weeks :goodvibes

Kathe

Wow, how nice for you to be with all the family on Sunday having Turkey and then sleeping in with a day off on Monday. That's perfect.

Do you have what we call a Black Friday......which is the day after Turkey day when all the stores have huge sales in an attempt to start Christmas shopping.....in your case it would be Black Monday.

Did they win Lotto? And do they want to adopt me?

He's a great guy. I had a major screwup yesterday because I was just too overwhelmed and buried to keep up with everything on his schedule, and it was a partial miscommunication, and I mistakenly assumed something. It was a $350.00 oops that I caused. But he politely suggested what I should do next time "for future reference, if this situation arises again" and no more mention of it was made. That was my first screwup the whole almost 4 years I've worked there, so I felt awful, but life goes on.

And since he's a great guy, he's the one I need to ask about taking 2 weeks off in a row. I thought we're just not allowed, BUT our receptionist pointed out the exact wording to me in the employee manual today. It says nobody may take more than one vacation week at a time without the prior approval of the managing partner. He's not the managing partner, but has a big influence (as we've already seen), so it's a very good possibility that I can make this happen. I'm going to ask him in a couple weeks after we've all fully recovered from his primary secretary taking TWO vacations within a month. ;)

Well, they did mention possibly taking a nanny for their yet to be born baby...who will be about 15 months at the time of the cruise. Too bad I don't 'do' diapers :lmao: or I would have voluntered.

...ok time to head home...

Something funky is going on with my knee. I used to ski and run up and never had knee problems until I originally gained all my weight 6 years ago. Lots went on very quickly and I started having knee problems when I was at my highest weight. My doctor told me to just lose weight. Duh, that's a no brainer, but not so easy. Anyway, after I lost that 45 pounds before the cruise, my knees were perfectly wonderful once again! Then I started gaining weight back slowly, but after gaining back about 20 I stopped gaining and have remained the same. My knees never bothered me with gaining that bit back, other than occasional pain now and then, but nothing to stop me from doing much. Today though, every few steps it feels like my knee twists and wants to give out on me. Very strange feeling and I have to sort of catch myself from falling. It was noticeable enough that Tyler asked me what was wrong. It's just one knee, so I'm trying to stay off that one as much as possible.

Yea, I would wait a couple of weeks before asking, but it sounds really positive. Just make him love you and you got it in the bag.:cutie: :cutie:

John has bad knees too. Try a knee brace for extra support and see if that helps.

I just bought a $62 necklace for $18.60! I LOVE the discount I get with lia sophia! :yay: I usually forget about it because if I thought about it enough, I'd spend way too much money on jewelry. A just placed an order for a co-worker though and just happened to remember a necklace that I really wanted for a while, so thought I'd treat myself. :cool1:

I have to try to figure out how to have an online sale so I don't become inactive. I just don't have time this month to do a home show and if I don't submit a show by the end of the month I'll be inactive and will no longer be able to sell or get my discount. I suppose I could have a catalog sale, but I can reach more people online, so I need to figure that out. Or maybe I'll get super motivated and try to just do a home show in a couple weeks. Too sleep to think about it now.

Sorry, I'm just rambling. Getting to that tired state where I babble. Off to bed, goodnight all! :cloud9:

hey now, monica, lisa and I have first dibs, but you can come too since there are 4 of them, but watch out since Michelle will try to claim one as hers too :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ahem... did I hear my name??? Just don't any of you get up to go to the bathroom... ;)

Can I take a number too.....how about six?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

That's ok Deb.. I'll be out on deck freezing my collective butt off because they wouldn't let me into the "Tile Chair" club... :rotfl2:
