We're back at the hotel again. We had a leisurely day today. We took our time getting out the door and went to lunch first. I had two blackberry crepes at Ihop and they were soooooooooo good. Then we went to Downtown Disney and checked out the Pin Trading and The Art of Disney stores. We moved over to the World of Disney store which is a favorite. I bought ponytail hair accessories that have mickey heads on the ends......I LOVE those.....and I also bought a pink Tink tee shirt where Tink says, "I'm perfect!" It made me laugh because it's so Tinker Bell.

That was all we did. We came back to the suite afterwards and we're just relaxing. I'll be elevating my legs soon.

I talked to Connie before we left for the day. We're on for lunch tomorrow. We're trying to pick a hotel on property that we would like to go to. Connie will get back to me with a time and place.

We'll have some spare time tomorrow after lunch and before dinner. So we're going to rent a watercraft and go boating. We both love that and it should be fun. Then we'll have to pack because it's our last day, we check out on Thursday.

We were saying today how this vacation has been so relaxing yet filled with social and fun events......just enough, but not too much. Unlike our three weeks in May where we were on the go constantly without any down time.

Even though I couldn't swim or go to the water parks, I really did enjoy this time away. I think we both needed it badly and it really did refresh us.

Deb, so glad you're getting a much deserved relaxing vacation
You talking about the Tink T-shirt made me think about the "we're in the lifeboat" T-shirts you sent some of us , I'm thinking of wearing mine to the lifeboat drill on our Tortola cruise

Good job on filling a page Monica. I, too, must have some disposal work done. I came back from the cruise and it just wasn't working anymore.

Well, I have to hit the shower early today. Get to go to the doctor for stage one of my physical. No water, no breakfast, no lotions, perfumes, make-up, deodorant!!!! I'll be coming back home for that stuff before going to work...that's for sure!

Just popping in to say "hi". I got back from Scottsdale yesterday. It was lots of fun, but I was exhausted! No down time, we played lots of games, baked a pumpkin pie from a real pumpkin (our fall tradition for the past few years), watched the movie Zathura about 4-5 times, swam, watched Mythbusters, walked the dog, and...I got to try out a Wii for the first time! Very fun, I can see why everyone likes it so much! I wasn't too bad at bowling, but sucked at tennis.

It was way too hot for me, it's still in the high 90s-100 range down there. I'm so glad to be back home where it feels like fall.

Just read the last few posts and can see I have some catching up to do...

"too many butts in a row".... There's got to be a story there!

Hi Cheri Sounds like you've been busy having fun
We had beautiful weather here last week, sunny everyday and highs in low 20's (70's F?) I was on vacation from work, but home with a cold, at least I enjoyed a lot of reading in the sun on my deck! This week it is cold! Hi's around 13(60?) for the next few days, brrr. I refuse to turn the heat on in the house this early, but I sure did enjoy my hot coffee this morning!

You're right Monica. I was too sleepy last night to figure it out, but yes, he looks to be maybe 20 years old, so he probably lives on his own. I think he may have been helping with the house because he had the shirt and hardhat on.

I did something last night that I haven't done in YEARS......get your minds out of the gutter people! I colored my hair. I wanted brown w/ reddish tint....got red. That's ok - I used to be a red head when I colored my hair last time Had to cover up those grays

Oh Monica, I'm sure it looks great! I need to do mine too, but can't find a red bright enough!

Gaylean, I would not know what to do in this situation. I do tend to agree with Jon though. And maybe you can mention to the teacher that kids are saying mean things to Ethan, and maybe the teacher can act like she's noticed it on her own and tell the kids that type of talk is not allowed, maybe she can address the class as a whole, so the kids won't have a chance to tease Ethan for his mom saying something to the teacher. I really don't know, sorry. That's a crappy situation.

Thanks for the opinion. I don't know what to do. I keep telling him to play with someone else and when he does his "best friend" will play with him again and we start this whole thing over again. He just keeps asking me why his friend would be friends with someone so mean. This kid is mean to everyone, not just Ethan.

This mean kid doesn't like Ethan because he is finishing his work before him and so now the table boss is getting mad at him instead of Ethan. So the competition is good IF he isn't just guessing on his work to finish early. We'll see.

Ended up getting confirmed in a studio at the Vero Beach Resort for 11/22-11/29. I don't believe any of them are ocean view, but I should be able to sit somewhere and just stare at the ocean

I've thought about this as well. I'm going to talk to the teacher and see if his teat scores are alright. He is finishing his work early because the table boss is really on him to get his work done. This mean kid doesn't like Ethan because he is finishing his work before him and so now the table boss is getting mad at him instead of Ethan. So the competition is good IF he isn't just guessing on his work to finish early. We'll see.

Thank you. He really is a lovely boy. He always sticks up for other kids that the bullies are mean to. I'm just afraid that will get him in trouble.

I meant this kid will be in competition with any school work, not just writing. So far it seems like Ethan did speed up but I wonder if everything is right on the tests.

I just need to stop worrying. I'm so sad.

Had to leave work at 11:30 this morning. The school called and had me pick Tyler up. He's suspended until Monday. More details later, but the 2 adults who had to carry him kicking and screaming out of the classroom are now afraid of him because he tried to stab one of them with scissors. Called and left message with doctor, this extreme incident is probably what he was talking about when he said if we see something like this immediately stop the Concerta and start the Adderall, so his dad will give him Adderall tomorrow morning.

More details later, cooking lunch.

OK, here's the detailed version of what happened today. It's very scary.

One boy in class said something that made him mad, so Tyler pushed him and then ran into the bathroom. The teacher thinks he might have ran to hide in the bathroom to keep himself from losing control more, but we don't know. He wouldn't come out, so the art teacher came in to try to get him out. He opened the door and grabbed her arm and bit her. She went to get the social worker/psychologist for help. She tried to talk to him but he was enraged and sputtering nonsense words.

She sat outside the door waiting for him to come out but before she could react, he flung the door open, ran past her into the classroom, jumped on another kid and slammed the kid's head into the desk, then it took 2 adults to try to restrain him (the social worker/psychologist and the principal). They had to carry him, kicking and screaming and thrashing to the office where they both had to physically restrain him until he calmed down because he grabbed scissors off the principal's desk and tried to stab the school social worker/psychologist telling her he was going to kill her and that she was chosen to die.

They were afraid of me being alone with him today because they've never seen him like that and were really scared. They said his voice changed into a gutteral tone and his eyes were glazed over like he wasn't even in there. I jokingly told them it sounds like I need to call an exorcist (I told them I have to joke or I'll cry from frustration).

So he's doing schoolwork and cleaning here at home. NO fun stuff for him at all.

Still waiting to hear from the psychiatrist's office, but probably won't get a call back until tomorrow because he's not in the office on Wednesdays.

I already talked to his dad and he's just as shocked as I am.
