Nope. He convinced women in the past to have abortions. Yup, he told me this when he was trying to convince me to have one. "I don't see why you won't, others did when this happened."

That does not sound like "a woman's right to choose." Sounds like he forced others and tried to force you.

I'm glad you didn't  Hard as life is some days, that would have been harder I bet

Jan

OK so again I'm not a bragger but since everyone else does it :lmao:

SL741397.jpg

Very nice!!! :goodvibes

I would never be mad at you only Bubba ;) and really I could never be mad at him either but I like to razz him a bit!

Don't we all??? ;)

Well of course you knew that when I spoke of risky moves that may have benefited him I meant Palin even though that was the deal breaker for me. If I were to ever vote for a republican it may have been McCain but not after he picked Palin.

I'm with you!

ME TOO!!! Well, maybe not voting outright for McCain, but when he picked her... :sad2:

Here are some BFFs that I know

SL741170.jpg

I mean Jose in the back ground!!!!

Hey is that the FAMOUS Tequila collection??? :goodvibes

There is so much more but I can't be here by myself. It gives me a complex :lmao: I'm use to being center of attention... if you didn't know that about me :flower3:

I thought it was about Nan??? :hippie: Hi Nan!!! :goodvibes

Nope. He convinced women in the past to have abortions. Yup, he told me this when he was trying to convince me to have one. "I don't see why you won't, others did when this happened."

The other times they gave him an out...

You didn't...

You gave him a son...

Maybe this time he is realizing what he missed out before and that having Tyler is giving his life a different dimension... And Maybe he's liking it...

Maybe somewhere along the line... he's the one who is growing up... ;)

Good Morning

I went to kids school for coffee morning but end up stay there for 2 hours!!

Teacher took me in assembly hall to see my son is"Pupil of the Week":thumbsup2

Then I got help from another teacher for my daughter, she is bad behaviour make me wit end.

She went out to play yesterday and never told me where she went.

I start worried and had go to work.

She finally came home and my husband had word with her. She was in the computer room at the Hay (round from my house) never told me.:scared1:

Also she was very cheeky to us now.

So I am meeting support teacher on Tuesday to help out for home behaviour.

Support Teacher said Olivia is a lovely girl and well behaviour at school.:headache:

Gaylean

Thank for showing the pictures and your kids look great:thumbsup2

Holly

How are you? Are you got the new job? or you decide to stay in old Job over Tyler?

I know it is not easy for single working mum.

Take care

Scottishwee35

Oh Deborah!!! :grouphug: Maybe Olivia is just testing her freedom and independence??? Keep up with her and she'll be ok...

Almost didn't make it to work on time today - apperantly my body thought that I needed the sleep more. Instead of hitting the snooze alarm (as I always do), I turned the alarm off  Luckily my bladder woke me up in time to get my butt into super sonic speed and out of the house, speeding down I4, and at my desk w/ 3 minutes to spare.

NOT the way I like to start a morning.

Didn't sleep all that much (about 4 hrs) last night again cuz I can't shut my mind off...not feeling physically well...hopefully today will go pretty quickly :surfweb:

Well... no wonder you almost slept through... Can't kill those bladder alarms, now can we??? :lmao:

Hugs and if it helps... I got into my office with time to spare also... I was still in my jammies... but I got here in time... ;)

Hi All.....well we left Santee, SC at 1:30am.....John loves driving at night......no tickets that way. He got his ticket yesterday just before we pulled off the road into the hotel during the day. We got to Orlando about 7:30am but sat in traffic on I-4 for another hour before finally getting to our hotel and checking in. They let us check in at 8:30am. We were tired so we had some food and fell asleep. Now we're fully rested.......well I am.......John is still sleeping.

Sandi called and wants us to go there for dinner. John doesn't want to. He wants her to come here because we drove all this way and he feels that's the least she can do. So he has to call her back and tell her when he wakes up.

Monica, I'll call you about 7:15pm tonight when you get off work and we'll plan a meeting place and time for tomorrow.

Me and John are meeting Lisa and Darrell at Epcot opening at the scooter rentals. Monica will see how she feels and will let us know where and when she'll meet us. We'll do World Showcase and hit all the Food and Wine tents. I'll take pictures and post.

Glad you're here safely. I plan on showing up at the god-awful time of 9am :rotfl: Don't know how long I'll last though:lmao:

Bored are you??? Did they make you take apart the paperclip chain??? Now since you are staying...you can start #2... make it longer this time... live it up...use the bigger clips!!!

Please explain. I need more reasons not to vote for them.

Clueless, perhaps????

You are really good with a yo yo. Can you do other tricks?

She can walk and chew gum... I think ... can you???

If you mean trip then it is going very well. If you mean trio, I haven't found the other guy yet!!!

Had a leisurely breakfast on the balcony, then went for a short walk. I hurt my lower leg walking down a steep hill on Wednesday and it is still hurting when I walk!!! I'm trying to wear it off!!! We bought supplies, then had lunch, read a while and had a siesta. Then we went for a swim before coming here. Going to have a simple meal tonight and watch a DVD.

We went to the buffet meal here last night and it was very nice.

Marilyn... just to make you feel better...

IT'S COLD AND RAINY HERE TODAY!!!!

Well, I wanted to call you a ding dong, but didn't want to steal Bubba's line! :rotfl:

Bye, I'm headed out for lunch.

Oh...by the way, I just had a meeting with one of the partners and it's official, I can stay. No pay raise until my yearly review the end of March, but that's fine with me! I'm just relieved they didn't get mad at me being so wishy washy.

YEAH HOLLY!!!!!

With this keyboard I keep typing the odd Spanish sign and wrong letters!

¿ÇÑ

I don't have time to go and correct much, so I bet I type loads of rubbish!

Gives us something to do while you're gone... we can try and translate... :lmao:

Do you remember that lotto commercial when the guy that won said "Now I can buy all this cheese" and they showed the cheese section :lmao:

No... don't remember that one... BUT I'M IN NY.... so I guess....

Yes, but will you be working with the Energizer Bunny now? Hope so.

I just had the tastiest lunch...Lasagna Rollatini. Lasagna cheese rollup with tomato four cheese sauce and mixed veggies. VERY yummy ::yes:: though I wish I had a green salad to go with it. Maybe I'll sneak out and get a side salad from somewhere....but that might be dangerous, so I'd better just plan on getting supplies at the grocery store tonight. Who knows what could pop out of my mouth if I went to McDonalds drive through. "I'd like one side-saaaaa.......small fries, please." :lmao: Breakfast was a bust...threw it out...vanilla doghnut/chocolate cream thingie...bleck. And one of my favorites, talapia, for dinner tonight. BTW I've lost 3 lbs already (though a nice loss the first week is pretty much to be expected.

.....back to the salt mines.......

.

YEA JACKIE!!!! 3 IS A NICE ROUND NUMBER!!! :goodvibes

We almost switch to Wamu last year but didn't. We do have a credit card through them. How are people paying for the video games? Ethan wants new games and I tell him he needs to buy them himself with his allowance

They didn't say anything on the newscast. Just that video games sales have increased and are popular among more age groups as a form of escape (similar to the way movies were during the great depression).

Things were a bit calmer today.

I don't have to make my team work this weekend.

A fever pitched hysteria had been reached on Wednesday regarding defects and very nearly people running around flailing their arms about and screaming that the sky is falling.

I won't go into the gory details, but it turned out to be one defect and we are back on track to move to production on Tuesday night, which will be after the end of the quarter.

I know that a lot of people are exasperated with me because I force people onto conference calls and into meeting rooms for huddles. I abhor the tendency of people to send off an email and think that they have communicated. Then hysteria hits and hours and hours and hours and hours are eroded and lost, when it all could have been sorted out in a 3 minute voice to voice conversation.

I'm going to go on record and announce to the world that I am old.

I remember a time before email when the only way to communicate was:

1. Talk face to face
2. Pick up the phone and talk
3. Type a memo, which was tedious and painful, and meant making photocopies, then address interoffice yellow routing envelopes and putting them in interoffice mail.

As a result, of writing a memo taking so long and being so painful most people:

1. Talked face to face
2. Picked up the phone and talked

I'm not saying that email is not useful, but I swear, in many, many ways MORE time is wasted and is LESS efficient as a result of it.

OK, I'm breathing again and will stop venting.

Tonight I have a WW staff meeting from 7 PM to 10 PM. I really don't want to go, but I have to. At least I get paid for them. Albeit minimum wage, but I do get paid.

Tomorrow morning I am subbing an 8 AM and a 9:30 AM meeting for another leader, and then on Sunday I have my own three meetings.

Thank goodness Rosh Hashanah starts on Monday evening and I'm taking Tuesday and Wednesday as PTO days! I'm going to need to be able to sleep in.

(Sleeping in for me means sleeping until 6 AM)

Would Tyler's Dad be more motivated if he knew about the college money Nan wrote about?

AND

Keep a copy of the list of who you sell to so next year you can start with the same folks. ::yes::

Jan ;)
He knows about the college money. But I know we could never sell that much because neither of us work with many people.

If you mean trip then it is going very well. If you mean trio, I haven't found the other guy yet!!!

:scared1: MARILYN! Now you're being norty! ;)

Had a leisurely breakfast on the balcony, then went for a short walk. I hurt my lower leg walking down a steep hill on Wednesday and it is still hurting when I walk!!! I'm trying to wear it off!!! I hope your leg feels better quickly. Other than that, it sounds like a wonderfully relaxing vacation! :cloud9:

Great news Holly. I can't think they would get mad as they must understand. They obviously really appreciate you and that means a lot!!
Well, the one partner that started this whole ordeal by asking me to stay last week, he's happy because I'll be working for him (he's the Energizer Bunny lawyer) and his 3 associates. One partner, the 80 year old, doesn't know anything yet because he'll try to get me to do his work. The 3rd partner is afraid I'll do this again in a couple months.

The office manager is TICKED OFF! :rotfl2: She likes us secretaries to think that she's in charge of everything and that she rules the roost. Well, unfortunately, she's basically in charge of maintaining proper equipment for us and making sure the work flow is going smoothly (which she doesn't do). She has absolutely no power regarding hiring or firing, it's all up to the partners because they're the bosses.

She's SO MAD that I didn't talk to her first, but the decision is not hers, so she has no part in it. I work for the lawyers, not her. Well, she didn't say a word to me all afternoon, then at 4:35 she called me and asked if I have a few minutes to come talk to her about things. I honestly told her, "Sorry, I can't, I have a bunch of things that have to get mailed today and the mailcarrier comes at 4:45 to pick up". She yelled, "WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS!" I told her not at the end of the day when things have to get out the door. I didn't leave work until 5:20 because one lawyer brought me stuff at 4:50 that needed to go out today (but by email). As I walked out of the office, I said to her, "SEE?! I wasn't joking, I had lots to get done, so much that I wasn't able to leave on time." She didn't even say a word or even look up at me. :rotfl2: Now she knows that I know she has no power after all. :rotfl: This is actually quite fun!

Doesn't necessarily mean anything....think of who is saying this.
Exactly! I went out for a drink after work with one co-worker who had the day off and 2 former co-workers. We all had some good laughs at the office manager's expense. :lmao:

Can they put that in writing that you WILL get that raise???
Nope, they don't put anything in writing, ever. BUT we're ALWAYS given a raise at our annual review, so I'm not worried.

Yes, but will you be working with the Energizer Bunny now? Hope so.

Yes, I will be working for the Energizer Bunny lawyer. He's hard to keep up with and the work never stops (almost), but I really do work best when I'm overloaded. Otherwise, my mind wanders and I end up wandering around the office, and I get set on that lazy track. No matter how busy he is, no matter how heavy his case load is, he's a really good guy who never blows up at anybody, like most lawyers do. Today, when I was working on last minute stuff that one of his associates gave me right at the end of the day, he told me not to worry about finishing it if I need to be somewhere, because his other secretary is coming in to work a couple hours tomorrow. He told me to just go and have fun tonight. :goodvibes

Lasagna Rollatini sounds YUMMY! Great news that you've lost 3 pounds already! Deb lost 3 pounds too I think, so WAY TO GO to both of you! Wow, this BistroMD is a great plan! :thumbsup2

That does not sound like "a woman's right to choose." Sounds like he forced others and tried to force you.

I'm glad you didn't  Hard as life is some days, that would have been harder I bet

Jan
Yup, he was a pig. I'd never even consider doing that. It's hard for me to even believe he suggested that because he's such a different person now.

The other times they gave him an out...

You didn't...

You gave him a son...

Maybe this time he is realizing what he missed out before and that having Tyler is giving his life a different dimension... And Maybe he's liking it...

Oh, he really has grown a lot. He even calls me and emails me to give me updates on Tyler's day now. What's interesting is that he won't call me after he's home, he only calls on his way home. Always. Even the nights Tyler's with me, he calls on his way home to ask me how he's doing and then to talk to Tyler. And I was actually bummed that I missed his call today at 5:20. His message said he'd just picked up Tyler and unfortunately, there was a substitute teacher, so no daily report that his teacher always gives us. This was the first day of adding the new med, but we didn't get a call from the principal, Tyler says he didn't go to the office today and says he had a good day. We can't rely on Tyler to be accurate though because he'll say that and we'll praise him, and then I'll find out from the teacher he had a rotten day. BUT....his dad said Tyler was in a great mood when he picked him up, and that's usually a good indicator, so we both believe him today.

I wanted to call him back, but didn't because it was about 7pm when I heard his message, and I suspect there's a reason he only calls me on his way home. :rolleyes1

Glad you're here safely. I plan on showing up at the god-awful time of 9am :rotfl: Don't know how long I'll last though:lmao:

Just think - at least I'm not driving 2 1/4 hours to be there at 9:rotfl2:

Though we would rather go earlier and leave earlier unless we are staying overnight.

See you in the morning - about 12 hours from now:thumbsup2

I was BEYOND bored! I didn't have any work until about 11am and I got to work at 7am!!!! Well, I had a bit of work from 7-7:30am, but that's it.

No paper clip chains for me. Most of the time, I'll be frantically trying to keep up with the Energizer Bunny and his 3 other minions. ;)

So who else is wishing they were at WDW with the gang tomorow....:)

How many of us would have to go in on renting our own jet so that each 'coast' could play with the other? TIme to pick up another lotto ticket.
