I can't see them at work!! I don't want to wait til I get home

Almost didn't make it to work on time today - apperantly my body thought that I needed the sleep more. Instead of hitting the snooze alarm (as I always do), I turned the alarm off  Luckily my bladder woke me up in time to get my butt into super sonic speed and out of the house, speeding down I4, and at my desk w/ 3 minutes to spare.

NOT the way I like to start a morning.

Didn't sleep all that much (about 4 hrs) last night again cuz I can't shut my mind off...not feeling physically well...hopefully today will go pretty quickly :surfweb:

Monica, I hope your day flies by and that you're able to get some sleep tonight.

2 of the attorney's I'm working for are in, but they say they don't have any work coming my way anytime soon. 1 won't be in until Monday. The 4th one is still at home because he just emailed me. But he works at home, so he usually brings piles of work in with him. And he told me yesterday he'll be here all day, so he should keep me busy (after our meeting when he finally gets here!).

Nope. He convinced women in the past to have abortions. Yup, he told me this when he was trying to convince me to have one. "I don't see why you won't, others did when this happened."

Why are these guys the fertil ones?

Thanks Kelly. I was looking for an idea what to tell the new employer. :thumbsup2 I used to sell things on ebay and really never had much luck. I've given away lots of clutter, so we don't really have anything let to get rid of on ebay, but will think about it next time stuff accumulates.

A lady at Z's preschool buys only disney stuff at the $1 store and sells it on Ebay for about $10 a pop and has built a great over seas business. She pays her entire rent every month doing just that. It's shocking what sells on Ebay.
This month, I've been selling hundreds of old used VHS videos and people are bidding on them like crazy. There is a guy in the next neighborhood who just buys at garage sales all summer and sells it all on ebay and craig's list. Apparently he's a millionaire from what I've heard. The handicapped lady who bought our swing set, only buys swing sets or picks them up from realtors where people have abondoned them. she is putting her daughter through an expensive university and donating the rest (the rest???) to a woman who can't afford her cancer treatment. Way to be entreprenuers ladies!

It's truly sad.

I actually did do that with some $1 store items a while ago. I also bought a 15 pack of Little Golden Books from Sam's Club, each one individually wrapped in a package that came with stickers and markers and the book has blank pages so your child can create their own book. Very cute! The 15-pack was somewhere around $10 and each individual book ended up selling for $3-$5 each, so that was a good find! :thumbsup2

Good Morning

I went to kids school for coffee morning but end up stay there for 2 hours!!

Teacher took me in assembly hall to see my son is"Pupil of the Week":thumbsup2

Then I got help from another teacher for my daughter, she is bad behaviour make me wit end.

She went out to play yesterday and never told me where she went.

I start worried and had go to work.

She finally came home and my husband had word with her. She was in the computer room at the Hay (round from my house) never told me.:scared1:

Also she was very cheeky to us now.

So I am meeting support teacher on Tuesday to help out for home behaviour.

Support Teacher said Olivia is a lovely girl and well behaviour at school.:headache:

Gaylean

Thank for showing the pictures and your kids look great:thumbsup2

Holly

How are you? Are you got the new job? or you decide to stay in old Job over Tyler?

I know it is not easy for single working mum.

Take care

Scottishwee35

Well at least she is good at school. I would be happy about that. I'm sorry you are going through this right now. How old is she? Is she a pre-teen :scared:

Good morning one and all (and Nan).

I haven't been around a lot lately because I am just exhausted. Another extremely stressful week at work with more chaos.

I've been reading the thread, I just don't have the energy to write anything.

Kelly - good insights on the economy. I imagine that things are worse in parts of the country where the mortgage crisis is worse such as California and Florida.

I don't know, for me well, sort of a crappy roll of the dice:

- I work for an insurance company
- My life savings are with Merrill Lynch
- My bank is Washington Mutual (the one that failed yesterday and was bought by JP Morgan Chase)

I'm not worried about my investments or my savings, they are all safe, though I expect the investment funds to be in the crapper. I just consider myself lucky that I am not anywhere near retirement.

I just heard a piece on NPR (National Public Radio) that a media center in Berkley sees that Americans are using video games for escape, much as the Depression generation used movies. Video game sales are up 43% over last year at this time. Couples are playing video games together.

So, breakout that Wii or Playstation.

We almost switch to Wamu last year but didn't. We do have a credit card through them. How are people paying for the video games? Ethan wants new games and I tell him he needs to buy them himself with his allowance

I got five hours and I'm wondering how I'll make it through the day. Starbucks here I come....

I would never be mad at you only Bubba ;) and really I could never be mad at him either but I like to razz him a bit!

I think that you two thrive on the razzing you both give each other.

Here are some BFFs that I know

Speaking of neighborhoods :lmao: totally off topic but I was going to ask you if there was a pizza place close to DL that we can take the kids and they can play games and eat pizza. We are taking the kids to the DCA trick or treat thing and we wanted to go to a pizza place first.

I know there is no Jose but it seemed funnier that way. Thanks for ratting me out :lmao: I have more. Jon just took them off the computer.

Tell Bubba I can't wait to eat more cheese with him
