We got email from DU that we are in 6 July 2010 of European Baltic Cruise.

My husband is more exciting

We booked at Cat 9 so no Cat 6 for us ::

Few people are from Westbound Canal booked same dates as us also Med people booked it well reunion

Sounds like you got the first tier pricing too. We booked three cat 10 cabins on Deck 10- so we'll be right there with you!! We also booked with transfers but without airfare.



Deb- I hope you can make all of your cruises happen! We always find a way, right?

Yay!! We booked this morning too- category 10 cabins on deck 7. Sounds like deck 7 is the place to be! We checked into airfare, and it looked like it was running about $450 per person from Barcelona to NYC- so not TOO bad. I'm so happy with the pricing on the cruise that I don't mind having to spend a little more on the airfare.



So we're all booked for the EB TA, and SO excited. DH took care of the booking since I had to be in court this morning, and I was the only attorney walking around with a goofy smile on her face all morning. It will be all of our first times in Europe (except for DH who has been to France), and I feel like this cruise is going to be a dream come true- going across the Atlantic Ocean and seeing Europe, even though it's just a few days of ports. I'm sure I'll be scrambling now to see what I'd like to do in each port, even though we have SO much time before the excursions will even be announced. Even Olivia was chatting about the "Mickey Boat" all morning.

You are soooooooooo right Ginamarie, we find a way because we can't stay away!

Glad you got the trip you wanted and I'm sure the whole family will have the best time!

Don't forget Lisa/DL5 offered to be a roommate to anyone during any cruise since she ALWAYS vacations separately from Don.

This will probably be the last time I post here before my cruise. So I will post pics when I get back. Its been a rough week so far. I have a project to do before we leave Fri. and a test TH. But I am soooo excited. My sister and dad don't know we are staying at Carribean Beach so we can go to DTD and then the next day we are taking a van to port (FLTOurs) since I want to be there earlier than Disney was going to get us there.

I hope everyone gets to do the 2010 cruise they want. We are waiting until the new ship in 2011.

Kelsie was the one I emailed back and forth with. However, it was only 4 days ago, so perhaps they go with earlier requests first.

My agent is Marla at DU and I'm still waiting to hear from her too. She warned me that it would take a while since it will be crazy. It's ok.

They may do it on a first come first serve basis.

Plus it's only afternoon over here. I might get mine later today.

I booked with someone else in mind for sure. It seems to early to really decide who. So for now, it's me and Wilson on the ressie. I got it for $2178, cat 11 room 6011. Now the bad news is that they want their darn deposit NOW!!! All $1200 of it I only had $200 from my dummy, so that means I have to create $1K in 2 days Not looking forward to that, but I'm planning on doing it. I can always cancel. I bet I have a couple hundred in my cruise bank and we rolled the coins for that not to long ago, so now it's time to cash them in.

It might be fun to travel with Wilson. He for sure could take the time out of school and Molly and I had a 2 week vaca without Paul and Wil in China, so I'm thinking that maybe it will be just he and me.

Paul was just telling me that he is not looking forward to the trip for NYE. He just doesn't want to cruise again Oh well. I do and will

You locked in a great price. Just bite the bullet and hand it over for the deposit. It's that much less that you'll have to pay later.

I had an email from our travel agent.

We are booked on the eastbound transatlantic, in a cat 11, Cabin 7009. The cost for both of us is $2,321 without the insurance and transfers.

I don't think that is too bad for a 14-night.

Not that airfares won't go up, for for April 2009, the one way fare from Dublin to Chicago is $306 USD, it is about $77 USD from Barcelona to Dublin.

I did do a dummy booking, but it isn't like the real thing. I really don't think DU are any cheaper unless they get group rates and they won't on these - not yet anyway!!! I wish they were though.

I've justified the deposit, we just stopped the house cleaner that saved me $200 per month, so that is my cruise money. Of course now I better go and mop the floors

I won't leave here, too many friends

I thought the same thing. Do you have a dummy to move? I did that is why I had to call DCL directly.
