I'll still be here.....I will be bringing my laptop and we'll be in a hot spot and I have a broadband access card. I'll be dising in the car on the ride down even. Don't forget the pictures. I'll be posting everyday.

Bye and hello again Deb! I wasn't gone long. Came home, threw a load of laundry in the wash so Tyler can have pajamas to wear tonight, mowed the front yard, had to speed mow because since we're having a HOT day today the bees came back to visit. Mowed really fast, dodging bees. Must have been funny for my neighbors to see me RUNNING while pushing the mower! I've become the OTHER crazy neighbor who provides entertainment for the rest. Off to hop in the shower and see if I can get to the grocery store and back before Tyler gets here.

Even though you've been as busy as a bee, I'm sure you're glad to be back home. Hope you have enough time to shop. Beware! Tyler may want to clean tonight!!!

Well, after getting out of the shower, I decided eating ice cream was a better idea than going grocery shopping.

I can go get groceries with Tyler when he gets here, but I don't want to share my ice cream.

Oh, I guarantee he'll be too worn out to want to clean. He's at the MSU/Notre Dame football game with his dad & stepmom, so he's in the hot sun today and having a blast, so he'll be tired. Probably just have dinner and will want to go to sleep.

Can't blame you. I'm dying for some ice cream. I found a carvel in Orlando and I'm going to have a mint chip ice cream with hot fudge and wet walnuts and whipped cream and a cherry. I'm waiting until I'm on vacation to splurge. It'll be better to do it then because I'll be more active. I'm looking forward to it.

Probably.....and I'm going to enjoy every calorie.....I'll eat it in place of lunch so I don't go too far over.....then eat a salad for dinner. It'll be so worth it!

Yup, Michigan State. He's such a big MSU nut. He's clueless about sports, but just loves the excitement. He was telling me last week about a football game he watched at his dad's, and he said, "And then the guy had a goal and then a grand slam! It was awsome!" I just looked at him like he was nuts. We all try to explain the different sports to him but he just mixes them all up and is clueless.

Today is the first day in a really long time, probably since Labor Day, that it's been warm enough to have the windows upen without feeling a chilly breeze. It's BEAUTIFUL! I got used to wearing jeans and long sleeved shirts and was sweating like crazy on my way home from work today. Didn't want the AC on in the car though because I was enjoying not being cold.

Holly, how is Heather and Tom and Bethany? You haven't mentioned them since we're back from our trip and I was just thinking about them. We ran into them at Talkin Crush in California and I took a picture of them all. I was just looking over my pictures and saw them and wondered how they are doing. Are they moving soon? Heather is such a great person, I really like her a lot. I didn't have a chance to get to know Tom as much and Bethany is a sweetie.

I've actually only heard from her a couple times. Well, I did call her when she had to go to the hospital for a couple days when she wound up with pneumonia after the cruise. After that we emailed a couple times, but she's just really busy. I emailed her the middle of August to ask if we could meet up near Jan in Indiana when Heather and Bethany were driving up to Utah to visit family, but she just emailed me 2 or 3 days ago in response to that to tell me they were already in Utah at that time.

She said they had to stay longer in Utah than planned because on the way, near the Georgia border, she hit an alligator in the road and it caused $3000 in damage! Up here deer/car accidents are a major problem, but I never thought of hitting a an alligator!

Then she and Tom just went to Vegas again like a week or so again. They used to live there before moving to FL, so they love going there to visit.

It's just the opposite here. It's been 80-90 degrees since Labor Day. TODAY is the first cool day we have had all month. We finally got to shut the air conditioners off. Usually they're out of the windows and packed away already by this time of the year. We're afraid to put them away yet, so we just turned them off for now. Then Monday will be the first day of Fall. Hope the weather stays like this around here. I love leaving for FL when it's cool and brisk at home and warm and sunny down there.

We have to worry about deers running across the driveway as we're pulling in or out and on the roads too. They're always jumping out to cross the road. We have lots of accidents here too. Gee, I guess I could have run to the store for a few groceries. Tyler's dad told me the game would end between 5 and 6, so should be ending soon, if it hasn't already.

I'm SO anxious to hear how things went at school yesterday after doubling the morning dose of his med.
