Well, I have lots of housework to do but I am putting that off! My pile of ironing is getting bigger, so I might put a film on this afternoon and get stuck into that.

I prefer to chat vacations!

Oh, me too. I just can't get motivated to do the housework......but I can think about vacation and stay on here chatting about it all day long.

How soon before you leave again for your next trip? It's coming up soon isn't it? How long will you be gone for?

It's going to be so hard to go to FL and do WDW and then go home. I'm going to want to go to the Port and get on the Magic.

Yes, just 1 week tomorrow we fly to Tenerife, and then transfer to La Gomera. We are there for 2 weeks as with the transfers adding so much to the journey it is hardly worth the effort for one week. At least that is our excuse anyway!!!

Two glorious weeks away......how wonderful that is going to be.

You only have 1 week until you leave......are you all ready and know what you're going to pack? That's what I have to do today. Figure out what I'm taking. Then start the laundry.

I know basically what I need, and I haven't worn any of the clothes since the cruise!!! Sun tops, shorts, swimming costume etc. Our eating out isn't dressy, so some smart cropped trousers, and perhaps a skirt will do.

WOW.....I'm in SHOCK! I just heard on the news that Lehman Brothers is filing for bankruptcy and Merrill Lynch is being bought out by Bank of America. Both are HUGE brokerage firms in the financial district in NYC. I used to work for Merrill Lynch and I ran all over their offices in the WTC towers downtown......many moons ago.

I guess this economy is REALLY not good.

There is so much(well just about everything really) that I don't understand about the financial institutions etc. It does seem we are in for some very troubled times though.
