We made it fun though. We had a bag of mini-rice cakes, the caramel flavor, in the car, and Tyler had a bottle of water, so we made a snack out of that. Then he told me the first 2 guys who tried to help are just like the Good Samaritans he learned about in Kingdom Kids at church. I used it as a lesson and told him that's right, and that's why we need to help whenever the opportunity comes up because you never know when you might need help, and that I know this will work out just fine because off all the people we help whenver we can, it's just our turn right now. We saw about 8 tow trucks pass us while waiting, on their way to pull others out, but he finally told me, "Mom, I know the tow truck is on its way down the road and the next one you see will be coming here, and I know he'll help us even though you don't have your money with you." I told him, well, we can only hope, and he told me, "No, I just know because I can feel it." RIGHT as he finished that sentence the tow truck came. I couldn't decide whether I should be happy at his optimism or spooked by how sure he was and then what he said would happen DID.

Just accept that he DID know.

I knew we were friends for a good reason!!!

You working two jobs?

Sort of...

I do my main job which is research, but I also do work for a company that is owned by friends of mine in Jersey... their son has cerebral palsey and when Kathy has to take time off I usually go down and work for her (unless I'm on a cruise to Panama...) (they did live without me, but they as they call it went through temp h e l l... ) I do extra work - this time calling all the customers and updating their profiles in my spare time... so I will be doing that tomorrow... 1600 calls over the next month or so... (I hate sales calls...)

What kind of customers do the other friends have? What kind of businesses are they?
