I haven't caught up yet but had to share the great news. I AM GOING ON A DISNEY CRUISE OCT.18!!!! My parents are paying for me to go with them on their vacation to help them out and tell them what to do!!! My mom really wanted me to come as she knew she would need help and my stepdad agreed!!!! I can't sit stil and am very excited. It has been a great day and it looks like things might actually start to get better!

A pirate walks into a bar and the bartender says, "Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened, you look terrible!"
"What do you mean?" the pirate replies, "I'm fine."
The bartender says, "But what about that wooden leg? You didn't have that before."
"Well," says the pirate, "We were in a battle at sea and a cannon ball hit my leg but the surgeon fixed me up, and I'm fine, really."
"Yeah," says the bartender, "But what about that hook? Last time I saw you, you had both hands."
"Well," says the pirate, "We were in another battle and we boarded the enemy ship. I was in a sword fight and my hand was cut off but the surgeon fixed me up with this hook, and I feel great, really."
"Oh," says the bartender, "What about that eye patch? Last time you were in here you had both eyes."
"Well," says the pirate, "One day when we were at sea, some birds were flying over the ship. I looked up, and one of them shat in my eye."
"So?" replied the bartender, "what happened? You couldn't have lost an eye just from some bird ****!"
"Well," says the pirate, "I really wasn't used to the hook yet."

Ohhhhhh... Marilyn... I just sent these to my brother cause if we do the cruise in August... he's gonna need new material!!!!!

we are def interested in 2010...John said ast night, I thought we weren't taking a big vacation next year, I said we aren't this is 2010 I am talking about. (after I told him the rumors).

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO????????????????? What did he say??? Make his favorites for dinner ....dress in gator colors... spoil him a bit... have the girls talk him into it!!!! Come on V... you can do it!!!

Molly and Wilson (him the most) love staying in their jammies. They try it when ever they can, on the weekends sometimes I have to tell them to get dressed at 4pm

Nan... we ALWAYS dress for dinner!!!

btw, my legs are killing me. I have taken today off of boot camp. I have signed up for 3 times a week, so I guess for now it's MWF

You're supposed to take a day off in between - let the muscles recoup before you beat them up alot... maybe a soft walk today may help you and I mean soft... slow... maybe out to the end of the street or whatever...

Howdy ya'll, no playing today! I'm off to get GS badges and patches and a boy scout uniform. I'm going with a friend so maybe there is lunch involved I had some work to do so I didn't come on earlier. I've learned the hard way that I have to come on here after the work is done or I don't get it done.

I did used to stitch, but never did anything with them. I still ahve some I stitched over 20 years ago that are just rolled up in a cupboard somewhere. I preferred working with linen too.

Looks like we are in for a nice(ish) day tomorrow, but Thursday in Hanna day!!! Of course it is also my hairdresser day!

I've been nicking smilies from elsewhere by the way!!

Everything is going well here.. just busy with work. Plus, I'm going to school nights to get my insurance license, so that I can help out my dad with his job if he falls into bad health. So between the pregnancy, the 2-year old, work and school.. I'm pooped!

Michelle- I DO need a cruise.. but I'm too far along in the pregnancy and they won't let me on a ship even if I found the $$ Doh!
A stop in NYC would be silly for us too, because we live about 30 miles from there on Long Island. On the other hand, if the ship LEFT from NYC, it would be great for us.. no extra airfare!!

I have been planning their cruise for them so I know what I need and where it is (I think? ). I will miss Matt but he is ok with it since he knows my mom needs my help.

My mom let me tell my sister after school and she flipped out screaming and jumping up and down. She and I are very close so she has been begging for me to go too. My mom also said she is excited now and a she feels like she had a huge weight lifted off her.

Thanks for the offer but I don't know where we are going yet. I need to buy a few guidebooks. Matt lived in Canada for a few years as is always talking about it so I want to see what all the talk is about. I think he wants to see Prince Edward Islands, the locks, and I want to see Niagra Falls. THis is going to be at least a 10 day trip but not staying in one place lone.

Michelle- I am trying to convinve him we need to see NY too.

I will definatly try to see you both as I it would be reallt cool to see ya'll again.

Jill, PEI is beautiful, as is the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. My parents have a cottage in PEI, it is their second home from May until Sept every year.When my kids were younger we used to go every summer to visit them. It is a long way from here though, about a 22 hr drive. I am about a 3 hr drive from Niagara Falls. You will spend a lot of time driving if you only have 10 days, just to give you some perspective. Make sure you plan some time to appreciate some of the places you want to see

Well, I was supposed to be seeing Oasis tonight, but someone in Toronto attacked Noel on stage Sunday, and now the concert here is postponed as he is too sore to perform (mad at the idiot that stormed the stage, not Noel!) I'm hoping I can attend Dec 15 instead now.
