I'm not sure why I'm answering this but I did talk to Steph but not at this time. I was watching a movie called Go. It was interesting. What did Steph want?

Good morning all!

I managed to sleep until about 7:00 AM.

Today is packing day. Not that there's all that much to pack. We're only gone for 6 days, but there all the gear we're wearing on the wedding day, so unfortunately we have to take the rolling garment bag, for the dress stuff, plus our normal clothing.

I think we might be going to Napa Rose for dinner on the wedding day. I made and ADR at any rate. In which case we have to pack some nice pants (trousers for our UK friends).

Not sure Sukie is very keen to go to Napa Rose. I asked him, which would he prefer, a nice dinner at Napa Rose or french fries and a ride on Dumbo. He chose the fries and Dumbo.

Pity. We only get to wear our wedding day stuff once. I understand that the sceret celebration is extremely casual.

Here I was looking forward to bow ties again.

Now that I know how to tie a bow tie, on the next cruise, we will be wearing real bow ties and not the clip on ones. A real one looks so much better.

I might even take to wearing bow ties now, when I do need a tie.

So, on our next cruise (Tortola) I'll give bow tie lessons.

I would wear whatever you want. It's your day. I think that was just a guideline so we didn't show up in baggy jeans and wife beaters!!!!

What is Netflix Monica? Have you seen any of the series?

Hi Marilyn,

I haven't seen any of this series but it does look like something I'd like.

Netflix is an online dvd rental thing...no stores. You pick dvds that you'd like to watch and they send them to you through the mail. Once you're done you send it back and they send you the next one on your list.

They have movies as well as tv stuff.

I suppose that this is the big week!

The dogs are now gone. The doggy hotel, Stay, has carted them off. They were all happy and excited when the guy arrived to take them, then as he carried them off, their eyes grew as big as saucers and they looked terribly worried.

However there is peace in the house now, with out the patter of their little hooves on the wood floors.

I was going through some old photos, trying to see if I could find anything from when Sukie and I first met.

I did find a couple from our very first vacation together. We went to New York City and then on to WDW.

I think the photos are hysterical. I never realized we ever looked that young:

Molly says she would be happy if it is a DCL cruise, Wilson thinks Alaska would be cool to see. I think it depends on how you travel. We travel alot to see educational/historical stuff, so both of mine are happy with those experiences. We also throw in kid stuff so it's not all adult venues. This seems to make a happy family for us on both ends. Compromise

My parents started us on the educational/historical trips early. One trip that will always stand out in my mind was when I was 9yo. We went to Europe-England, France, Holland-and did many different things. For ex-in Holland - did the Anne Frank House (historical) plus Madurodam (fun http://www.madurodam.nl/templates/mad/global/index.php?lngid=5&sqlmode=1&fid=800 ). We also did Normandy in France--seeing the beaches of D Day and stopping in the American Cemetary. In London, we did Madame Tussauds for fun. Good mixture.

We also had some locations where the educational part was not what my parents were expecting.....like in either Cape Towne or Johannesburg (South Africa)....during Apartheid...and seeing all the "blacks only" and "whites only" signs (we were still living in Brazil where whites are the minority). I had never really given much thought to the skin color until this trip.

That would be interesting. There is a black girl in Brooke's class and she was describing her once and she said "You know the one girl that has a lot of little braids all over. She is a little fat. She's really bad in class. Do you know who I am talking about". There is only one black girl so I'm not sure why she didn't say that. I'm hoping she didn't notice but did hurt my feelings that she noticed she was fat I wonder what she thinks of me

Hi all thought I would check in - went to Gainesville this passed weekend and stayed in orlando on Fri and Sat night (we had a free condo stay) so it cut our drive time short for the game which was nice. We had a blast at the game, the girls are getting so big!

We have TS Hanna, TS Ike and TS Josephine all in the works down here. Hopefully no one is cruising anytime soon. I just pray they stay away from Florida!

hope everyone is well. Work is a bit stressfull, we have another mandatory pto day last Friday. We are heading to Gainesville Sat for the game and ESPN Gameday will be there....LOOK for us, we usually end up getting on TV and the girls will be on John's shoulders I am sure!

There is a lot of talk about the 2010 itineraries which ae due to be released on the 7th October. Looks promising that a few will choose to go on one or other of the cruises. Most popular rumour at the moment is for a return to the Med.

In the meantime there is quite a group booked for Sept 12th 2009, though none of your drinking buddies!!!

It is the tank tops you get inside the bags, like Fruit of the Loom. I think they are suppose to be underwear but a lot people wear them as shirts.
