Is she coming around again? Why are they bringing back all of our old toys? I had SSC too but I was 8 :lmao:
I don't know, I haven't seen any of the toys out. I remember I had Strawberry Shortcake, Lemon Chiffon, Blueberry Muffin, and I forget who else. :rotfl2:

I remember silver dollar coins when I was a kid.

They keep trying to bring back the $1.00 coin without much success, which is sort of a shame, because of the lifespan of a dollar bill and the cost of printing them is so high.

And Abe looks SO good in PURPLE!!! :lmao:

If only the Wii expanded throughout the whole house!:)

I read online somewhere that much of what they do is done so rushed it isn't done very well, just good enough to look okay for the cameras but not good enough to keep for a few years.

I recommended going 2-toned. A dark colour for bottom half and a nice pale colour up top. Shaelyn has tinkerbell green on the bottom and pale pink up top with a sky blue ceiling, and fushia trim. (you like fushia right :) )

I just don't want to have to fit a real size bed into her room. We've delayed because she isn't asking too often for a real bed, and I'm convinced that one day within 9 months I will get a new job and we can move :cool1: and her toddler bed is so much easier to move than a real one.;)

I thought of Disney Paint... but that was only when I was at Home Depot stealing Mickey heads for my stateroom door... :rotfl:

We're only planning to move 120km north (roughly 75 miles) still good for you to come ::yes::

You're moving north???????????????????

You have Bambi poop on your lawn? All we get are Thumper droppings.

Thumper is going to be one dead bunny if he doesn't stop eating my garden!!!:headache:

We're only partly metric. We buy milk and gas by the litre, but we buy apples in 5lb bags. We measure ourselves in lbs and our height in ft/inches except for the doctors office when they always weigh us in kg. Where I work is even worse. We make MDF board on a press that is 30metres long and can press 8 or 10ft wide :lmao: :lmao: The press measures thickness in mm (millimetres) but the sanders do everything in thousands of a inch :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I can do many conversions in my head. Okay babbling, time to stop

 TOUCHDOWN:banana: sorry watching game and typing too!

I got to like metric when I lived in Europe. It was an adjustment at first, but I found that ultimately, once there was no need to convert (because everything was metric) it was easier.

Cooking was MUCH easier with metric than English or Imperial measurements.

I liked weighing myself in Kg, because at 2.2 pound to the Kg the number in Kg was so much more attractive than the number my weight was in pounds.

The only thing I never really cared for was the temperature in Celsius. That just never sounded right.

CRAP! My computer pooped out on me and I had to restart it, which takes like 20 minutes, it's such a piece of junk. :headache:

You mean you have been gone for 20 minutes????? No wonder I got caught up :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You need to get caught up and NEVER forget Peppermint Patty

I love those days when I can sleep in and I actually want to because I had a few drinks the night before. Do you remember the days where you would stay up until 6:00 am and then sleep all day and you would actually sleep and not toss and turn? I hate getting old. I'll probably be one of those old geezers that can't sleep past 5:00 am :scared1:
:rotfl2: Never in my life have I been able to stay up until 6am! I like my sleep too much! Except, of course, the night we were booking excursions for our cruise. And the only reason I was able to stay up for that was because Tyler was up throwing up and hallucinating anyway with the flu!

Strawberry Shortcake toys are still being sold throughout Walmarts of the world :)
Wow, I had no idea! Then again, I hate shopping and never make it past the grocery section. :rotfl2:

You and me both.

So Sukie only WATCHES this old house... he doesn't actually try to do over this old house???

I don't believe in color. I more or less prefer white walls, except our kitchen and dining room are two different shades of sage.

We did paint the front and back parlor a few years ago, one room was a rich purple and the other room was a color called heliotrope.

It was a disaster, because one room looked like a Victorian brothel and the heliotrope would have been more correctly named if it had been called "bruise."

I honestly don't know what we were thinking.

& you wonder why I haven't painted... I'm sitting in what used to be a nursery... at least they didn't put up a border or anything... blue curtains go with yellow walls thank God... :worship:

Didn't she one use latex wall paint to paint somebody's sofa and chair? That was the stupidest thing I ever saw, using wall paint on fabric.

Sure that would be comfy and hold up real well.

& you said you never watched reality TV... :confused3

what is "Heliotrope" is it purple bruise, brown bruise, or yellow-green bruise?

It's supposed to be bluish purple... or as Ian said... Basic Bruise...

So how DO you figure out celsius? Can't you just subtract 32?

I agree ultimately metric system is much simpler. Imperial has too many number that must just be memorized. All measurements in school for me were metric. I was an adult before I knew there was 3ft to a yard, and I still have no idea how many yards to a mile and all those conversions. Some American companies do use metric system. Shaw flooring does everything metric in their laminate flooring plants. I think in another 100yrs metric will be the norm.

I didn't see that one, but it sure sounds like something she'd do. She's just hideous overall.

Wow you need to stop drinking and watching cartoons :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

My favorite song is by Dido

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why
I got out of bed at all
The morning rain clouds up my window
and I can't see at all
And even if I could it'd all be grey,
but your picture on my wall
It reminds me that it's not so bad,
it's not so bad

I drank too much last night, got bills to pay,
my head just feels in pain
I missed the bus and there'll be hell today,
I'm late for work again
And even if I'm there, they'll all imply
that I might not last the day
And then you call me and it's not so bad,
it's not so bad and

I want to thank you
for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you
is having the best day of my life

Push the door, I'm home at last
and I'm soaking through and through
Then you hand me a towel
and all I see is you
And even if my house falls down,
I wouldn't have a clue
Because you're near me and

I want to thank you
for giving me the best day of my life
Oh just to be with you
is having the best day of my life
I'd be pissed if my house fell down.

I just added to my myspace if you guys want to hear it

myspace.com/gaylean
I'm too lazy to click somewhere else. Must be I've had too much beer. I think mine has "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy" on it, but I haven't been there in so long, I can't remember what's on there. Great song. I've always wanted to ride a cowboy, so it's appropriate.
