Please tell Ken that tomorrow I will have pictures up of Auger Falls - it's one of the Geocaching places up near my lake... I didn't GC... I just hiked... but it will definately show you why it's NOT a very easy cache to get!!! (hint... I wouldn't go into that cave when it was dry!!!)

OH MY GOSH I GOT A TAG

Had to tell ya first, but I think I got it by posting on a I'm not tagged thread.

The Queen Mum and I are back on speaking terms....

You see... I'm in pain all the time from nerve damage in my neck and right arm... some days I cannot move... today was one of them. I spent the whole afternoon back in bed hoping the meds would kick in.

SHE got this brilliant idea that we should go home today instead of tomorrow (she's very much like my grandfather who used to change all the travel arrangements and announce to my grandmother she was going home even though she didn't want to...)

So... being IN the pain I was IN... I had to pack up the cabin, clean, pack the car, drive home and unpack the car.

I am still hurting and plan to spend most of tomorrow catching up or recovering...

She forgets that I am pain - most people around me do because I look just fine... but it's there every day in some form or another... It's 20 years this November that the car accident happened... I had 6 surgeries over 9 years... I manage it, but it's part of life... but she forgets that and gets mad at me when I have to take a break...

& we get into fights about it.

So... that's MY rant for the day...

Well it is nice to have you back, but so sorry to hear about the bad day with the pain. I don't think any of us would have known you could be in so much pain so you do cover it well, but that must take its toll too, trying to hide it. Take care today Michelle and I hope you feel better soon.

Well... it's still dark here!!! (I had to... I'm sorry...)

Thanks for the hugs Marilyn... most people forget that I have what I have... most days when it's bad I keep to myself. It just bothers people when they think I am being lazy. I can get out of bed and have to turn around and go right back and lay down - it's called TOS - Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and my nerves just got stuck in scar tissue so they hurt all the time... its like the feeling that you get when you hit your funny bone... except I have that all the time and along with it fibromialgia with all of it's aches and pains. Add to that a few migraines and I stubbed my toe the other day...

Mom forgets... I love her, but she forgets and gets mad at me cause I can't do very much when I get this way. It can last for hours or weeks... I can't tell anymore... my body stopped consulting me a long time ago about these things...

Amazingly... It didn't bother me on the ship... It did at WDW and DL... but not on the ship... oh well...

I had a very nice time... My brother and my nephew Will came up to the lake overnight and we had a nice day and he brought me my favorite crumb cake and the CHEESECAKE for my bday cake!!! It's been years since I had my bday up there and it was very nice. Got to go float around a bit in the lake and relax... I love it up there.
