Venetia hasn't spoken yet!!! However, we both know she wants Alaska!! Perhaps Michelle could use thermal yarn for your socks and sweater!!!

I can't even imagine how much clothes would cost for that cruise Michelle AND Shannon better start knitting and sewing

I think I can only do a transatlantic on a "real" ocean liner - just going on the pics from the TA cruises last year there really would be no point in my going. I'd be so that you guys would never see me

Different type of That was a present to everyone else as I lost my voice

I did get a bit (seasick) on 2 occassions this cruise - only 1 night tho where I felt I had to go to bed.

We're hoping to be able to do a repositioning cruise in 2010. If I get a new job, it'll mean a cut in pay, but living in the better town, and maybe can't afford the cruise.

I think the Alaska application just means Disney is planning to do it at some point. The application covers 9 years!

WOW! Both sound great but the Med sounds a little better. I wonder about the weather. We like it hot but not too hot.

Since reading up about the Queen mary 2, I really would agree. That ship is built for Transatlantic crossings and apparently you have a pretty smooth crossing.
