Marilyn:

I have a collect starting to gather from my Molly for your GD Molly. Books and such. I've collected them since she was born and some of them she has completely outgrown. Does anyone in your family have a cassett player?

Well I am sure someone will have. What a lovely idea, thanks.:)

Change of plans yet again for next May.

We are going to Florida only and spending 16 days with our daughter, son in law and 4 children!!!:scared1: :scared1:

This is the last time they can go slightly out of school holidays as her children's school have a slightly different holiday to others, so hopefully not as busy a time.(Though Memorial Day is just after they arrive) We never thought they would go, so we think it worth cancelling the big trip for this. going to be a lot of fun.

We will still have a good 4 weeks ourselves, but will visit some other areas of Florida. We are booking a villa for our stay with the family.

Where are those tranquillisers.:headache:

Last October we did a cruise with Sukie's daughter and 7 year old grandson. We had adjoining cabins and then did a week at WDW staying at VWL in a 2-bedroom.

Not sure it was the most relaxing trip I've ever taken.

Oh I know. :scared: That side of things I am NOT looking forward to. They are hyper children. I am looking forward to showing the the World though.

One reason we are going earlier so we can do our stuff and then focus on them for the 2 weeks.

They have been to DLP and enjoyed that. i was gutted I couldn't be there to share their first time at Disney, but Paris is such a small, much less friendly, litter strewn, smoky place, this will be an eye opener!!!:yay:

There was some talk about another "family" trip next spring, but Sukie just got an email from his daughter this week, and because business is down, she doesn't think they can swing it.

I'm not so sure I'm crushed about it.

On the up side, a great thing about being DVC member is that a family holiday like this is very doable.

MARILYN CLOSE YOUR EYES..

I was just reminded that they have DARK chocolate covered strawberries at Pooh Corner......

DSCF4566.jpg

Hey!!!

They didn't have them when I was there!!! I had to settle for a YUK... milk chocolate covered one...

Yes! We really liked "My Boy Jack," and it was interesting to see Daniel Radcliffe doing another role.

The sad part is that it's true. Rudyard Kipling never forgave himself for what he did to his son.

I have that on my to rent list... I missed part of it when it was first shown...

Are you still ok? No after affects?;)

NOT YET..... :rolleyes1

oops...didn't see this part of your post (I stopped reading at the underline!)

WELL.....if I actually took a half day off on Friday, instead of just trying to sneak out a few hours early....a dinner would be possible. I'm sure Cheri wouldn't object to goining earlier and we'd want to allow time to be caught in a bit of traffic, since we'd be hitting that part of CA in the 5 o'clock hour. Hmmmmmmmm......I'll check on Monday and make sure this is doable, though I don't see why not.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

.

Make ressies for midnight just in case...

when you are done with them, send them to our house to sprinkle some good dust here.:wizard:

When HE comes home... sprinkling pixie dust is the LAST thing he'll have time for for a while...

Marilyn... Go with the flow... you can always come and visit all of your Dis friends around the states...

Oh THAT fairy, never mind he is yours and yours alone. Keep us posted on your travel plans.:thumbsup2

I'm freaking out and I should have never played with you last night :scared: The only time I sat down today was on the toilet. Ethan decided to clean his room by shoving everything under his bed. I hope no one looks under there because there is no time now. I have to go freak out some more and take some Valium...I mean have a drink!

stop freaking out, every kid hides stuff under their bed, you my friend are a normal parent ;) enjoy the party

Jackie - all the food shots look good, but particularly the Bengal BBQ asparagus :thumbsup2

Holly just hang that sucker from the ceiling and you'll have plenty of floor space!!! :rotfl:

Just get on Trading Spaces, Hildi can come rearrange for you and you'll end up with a fantasticly insane new room ;)

Wow - that'll be a fun time! You'll be exhausted when its over!

Not many hotels promote themselves like this:

Very creative, but where'd they get the funkier computers in 1965

Nan's right! Have a great party. Who'd go looking under Ethan's bed anyway? Probably only another kid who has stuff under his own bed at home! :lmao: :lmao:

What a hassle for you. You and Darrell should make a bet on how long it takes to get the claim settled, or even just how long to get the claim started ;)

It has to be filed within 70 days from the day they delivered everything - well almost everything :lmao:

One of my guys had a cough last week, and after he would cough, I'd do a tiny little cough cough and say, "I got the black lung, Pop."

This would set him off laughing and then coughing some more.

Jackie - go see Tropic Thunder.

We love to use that line whenever either of us cough too :thumbsup2

A very quotable movie!!!

Hello everybody

Ian, I nearly choked my tea when I read your story about broken glass!!:rotfl:

I cried! :sad1:

I LOVED Zoolander. Was dragged to see it and laughed my behind off! :thumbsup2

Oh, Ian, I saw a good/recent review of Hook's Point, so you guys should try it (I'm now officially sad that it is closed on Sunday/Monday).

Seems I have found more places for lunch in DLR than there are days I'll be needing lunch! I wonder what time my assignments will start on Saturday??? Kelly, how many cupcake need to be iced and how many corn dogs dipped???

Well, it's PAST lunch time here. Peg slept in so no early movie for us. We might do a twilight instead. Think I'll hit the shower and throw on some clothes and get the ball rolling here.

.

Loved Zoolander. I'll let you know what time the gloves go on as soon as I hear back from the 3 people I emailed earlier today. Just heard from Michelle, waiting for Gaylean and Steve.

I think Steve said he would come, but have not seen him around here in quite a while.

I emailed him.

Our impression of DLP was the same and so expensive... so we decided to spend our time in Paris and not at the park even though we were staying there.
