I am back from subbing that Saturday morning meeting and am having a quick lunch/snack before I run out the door to hop on the El to go to a WW training class. It is from noon to 6:00 PM (YUCK!) and it is facilitation skills.

At least I will have all of the mandatory training I need to take behind me, but this isn't making for much of a weekend.

Sukie worked last night. I was in bed when he came home.

He was in bed when I left to lead the meeting this morning. I came home and found that he wasn't here. He'd left a note that he went to the library to do research for his book.

With a little luck, we'll see each other at about 7:30 tonight. I last saw him at 6:00 AM on Friday!

We are on our way to Porter County where we used to live for Eye MD appts, calling hours for a friend who died (she was the elderly mother of a friend who is our age), and the annual picnic for supporters of an environmental learning center (camp) in the Indiana Dunes.

You're up in my neck of the woods!. Isn't that quite a drive from Indianapolis?

Ah, Indiana Dunes State Park....had an 'experience' there on Senior 'sneak-day'

Ian, Di and I drove from Chicago to Bloomington, IN quite a few times in the 70's. Some of her college friends were still there (or BACK there after a stint in the Army) for grad school. It's a easy drive straight down I65, just takes a while.

I actually had two kittens once that I named Remington and Rensselaer after two of the 'exits' on the highway!

We had an hour non-stop talking visit poolside at the Biltmore http://www.arizonabiltmore.com/?WT/srch=1 resort. I got to meet her mom, who is a delight and MUST cruise with us!

Today we are going to see Aida at the Herberger Theater. This is the Elton John/Tim Rice one done by Valley Youth Theater. Can't wait!

OK....big sister has asked for information on every place on the ship to get VEGETABLES. I was raving about access to fruit all day long....she's concerned about veggies. I really couldn't answer her question, other than saying you can get extra sides of veggies at dinnertime. I know the lunch buffetts have salad, but I couldn't remember anything beyond the usual salad 'toppings'.

HELP! Menawhile, I'm off to the food porn thread to look for pictures.

I am shattered now and cannot face to go to work today for 8 hours. Wish I had a week holiday instead swap two days in a week.

Never mind I will have wines tonight

I will catch up the pages tomorrow

As I got bad news last night that my late father's brother died last Thursday. I looked up on internet for Evening Express from Aberdeen as I cannot see anything for funeral. I leave it until Monday.

What next !! I said to my brother last night.

OK....big sister has asked for information on every place on the ship to get VEGETABLES. I was raving about access to fruit all day long....she's concerned about veggies. I really couldn't answer her question, other than saying you can get extra sides of veggies at dinnertime. I know the lunch buffetts have salad, but I couldn't remember anything beyond the usual salad 'toppings'.

Goofy's galley had a salad bar with different fixings which is accessible throughout the day. The lunch buffets did have some veggies in with the hot food. I remember eating cooked carrots a couple times.

Today I'm feeling lazy when I really need to get motivated and get things done. So its off for a shower and hopefully get busy. Its hot and sunny here, so need to do work for a bit and then go run errands in the sun!

funny you ask about this. Wilson was tasked with writing about a new veggie everyday of our trip and I the dope that I was, didn't think of taking pictures of them until the last few nights. Our server was really good about bringing him a plate of all kinds of different veggies one night to "try" As to the buffets can't even remember seeing many.

Pretty soon I'm going to a nearby town to finish my scuba refresher. Today I do the pool work; last Wed. I did the course work. I hope the trip still happens! I've been checking on Fay and so far it looks like it'll be past by Wed. (the day we arrive) but who knows? We knew it was a risk when we planned this trip for August but it was the only time my friend could go. Nothing to do but wait and see...

I had a very weird thing happen yesterday. I got an automated call from "Chase credit card security" saying that there was suspected fraudulent activity on my Disney Visa (they gave the last four numbers of the account) and I should "press 1" or call back to this 800 number for further information. That totally sounded like a scam to me! So I called the number on the back of the credit card to report it. But when I called that number, it patched me straight through to the fraud division! To make a very long story short, there *had* been a couple of fraudulent charges on that card--one to Bed Bath and Beyond for $11 and one to what sounded like a gas station for $111. They're taking them off and sending me a new card with a new account number so it was all OK---but the story doesn't stop there!

An hour or so later I get another call, this time from a real person who identified himself as being from Chase fraud division saying there had been suspected fraudulent activity on a different Chase Visa that I have. Sure enough, 2 charges to....Bed Bath and Beyond! So they closed that account and are sending me a new card for that one! Very spooky!

So far, no more calls. But isn't it weird that they would notify you with an automated call? I was totally suspicious and really rattled by the whole thing.

But other than that, things are fine with me. Still glued to the Olympics, gone to a couple of movies and now will be getting ready for my trip to FL (hopefully). Hi to everyone!

I was thinking of you and your scuba love the other day. We took Molly to do the Underwater Explorers class at the Monterey Bay Aquriam. She loved it! And was a natural with the gear. My sister excitedly told her that you can now be certified at 10 Of course then she said your mom will never let it happen

I have to say after seeing how well she did in this class I would be open to having her ask about wanting to dive. Life is too short, grab hold and enjoy

Where is your trip? My sis is planning a dive trip to the far east, she is doing part of it on her own, Cambodia and Twiwan (sp) I never remember the actual spots she goes to, but everytime she talks about them I think of you and your love of diving.

On a still day we can hear the cars. It is probably 5 or so miles away,

I have only been there for Bobby Banana's photo op and one Brickyard 400 before we moved here.

The races are NOISY and the visibility is limited.

At home on TV we can see better as they switch cameras.

We can adjust the volume.

We can eat our own food.

We can use our own potty.

We don't have to get dressed.

Oh lucky you!! i wish it was me as I went to work today as my boss gave me big smile huh. I realised it was very very busy day today.

I feel tipsy now after drank two glasses of wines i think must be overworked all this week!!

My husband told me that he won lottery as he got 4 numbers as he nearly got 6 numbers damn!! If we won lot of money we should back to EB crusie tom as i know 4 english couple are going tomorrow sob sob I WANT BACK AGAIN but not same without you all right.

Oh well that is life as we won 22 pounds (44 dollars) as too many people won too. we should won 256,000 pounds as it would be nice huh dream bang now.

I will catch up the news tom (maybe I am sober right)

Of course you can always use the menu as a "guideline" and order lots of veggies at dinner. There are also salads available all day long at Goofy's Galley.

I had the same thing with my Chase Disney Credit Card. I called the Fraud dept and the charges they were questioning were mine.

Sounds like someone has stolen you identity...I woul dnot play around with this...not sure what to do, but I bet someone will tell you...maybe ocntact the credit companies and see if any credit cards have been opened in your name.
