Ok... who woke me up??? I need my Planky sleep!!!

Yes Shell... I'll Answer...

Dear Miss Jackie...:hippie:

It has come to my little green attention :thumbsup2 that you have inquired about the etiquette of bringing your own swill into the dining rooms aboard the ships named Magic and Wonder...

It is my wise opinion that you are free to bring any and all alcohol anywhere your little  desires.

May I suggest the following containers in which to bring such libations... The Beer Can Hat... a barrel stolen from a St. Bernard (please leave dog treats to bribe the dog...) or the ever popular Planky Green flask.

However... since it will require much consideration as to what booze to pack for your trip, may I suggest that you just follow Ian around and see if anything falls off his little red wagon!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: (Ahhh Ha Haaaa... I even make myself laugh...:lmao: :lmao: )

I hope that answers your question... Feel free to send all questions to Dear Planky... c/o Tink rules....

Thanks...

The Plankman :thumbsup2

Planky, this is great advice. :thumbsup2 Do you think you should expand it a little, make it a bit less personally directed to Jackie and post it on your trip thread for the benefit of all your fans?

On a related note, I am sorry to report that I have perused the list of available smilies and find only two which might be used as a signature for your posts.
:lmao: and :bounce:
Each of them captures a portion of your essence, but only a portion. What is to be done?

Jan

This would be perfect for one of my little great nephews! His dad is an avid hunter and the baby got lots of camo things when he was born. Very cute!

 Thank you

It is camo yarn, two strands and a size Q (who knew they came so big?) crochet hook. The pattern is just single crochet. Then a back crochet border. If anyone wants more detail, let me know.

The hardest part was when the color swatches from each of the two skeins of yarn did not line up as the look was BAD when there were two colors in any one place, so I made some extra loops on the hook to mesh them in.

:rotfl2: Parents in Indiana think that Michigan is setting a good example and they would love to have Indiana follow suit! :thumbsup2

:confused3 Summer is so short and vacation plans often conflict with school.:sad2:

Jan :)

Back in the 'olden days' in Indiana we did have a three month vacation...Memorial day to Labor day....lovely! Though I do remember getting a tad bored in August, but there were lots of kids in my neighborhood to play with. And when we were a little older we could walk downtown and meet schoolmates who lived on the other side of town. I remember in Jr High, walking downtown to the bike shop and renting a tandem bike with my girlfriend (who had walked from HER side of town to meet me there), then we would bike all over the place. I do remember being pretty exhausted on the walk home when the day was over though!

.ahhhhh....the olden days......

.

I always thought End of June to Labor day was great... but since my girlfriend had to go home for football practice... I GOT HER CABIN!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Please don't start saying you ran down the lane, wearing high button shoes and playing with a stick and a hoop.

But she'd so fit into the wedding attire!!!

This is very true.

I am sure we are the only people in the world wearing what we will be wearing.

(I might have outdone myself this time)

THIS TIME????

You should have been there when I had to explain you guys to everyone at the lake.... (showing pictures you know...)

At least if you come to visit me in the future... they'll know who you are... (all good thank you...)

But you can leave the tuxes at home... :goodvibes

.....I'm still really sore in my chest...I guess it's going to take longer than I thought for that to go away......

 Sounds like the ribs are bruised. If so, that will take quite a while to resolve. Hang in there

But we might have to wear the wedding outfits, for when we go promenading you know.

I shiver with anticipation!

Howdy everybody! Been sleeping on and off today. Trying to get motivated to mow (I haven't mowed in about 2 weeks), but just can't seem to get the energy to do it. I realized yesterday at work, when everybody was irritating me and I wanted to slap a bunch of people, I need my St. John's Wort back. I was my happy self while taking that, but when I had to stop to start the drug the Dr. at the migraine clinic gave me, I slowly felt all the bad stuff coming back. Sure, it has reduced the frequency and intensity of my migraines, but I can't go back to feeling cruddy. So I'm going to make a phone call Monday and see what they think I should do. I told the Dr. I didn't believe him that there was a drug that could help my mood AND reduce migraines at the same time. Or maybe there's a different one that will work. We'll see. My first follow up appt isn't until mid-October and I can't wait that long. I gave this med a month to see how it would work and I think that's enough.

:thumbsup2 Makes sense to me! Keep us posted on what the MD says. ::yes::

Jan :)
