Am going back to the Dr on the 19th to talk about meds & some other issues. Depression has been getting worse over the last month....want to get things back on the up swing again.

Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, pixie dust, s and support. I don't know if you guys realize how much they (and you) mean to me (as my eyes start to tear up). Must stop now or I will start crying & don't want to have to explain that here at work.

:grouphug: Oh, I am tearing up now, just reading your post! I know how you feel, I had to start on depression medication about 10 years ago. I do know that depression runs in my family.....sometimes it's genetic, and sometimes it's due to stress, both of which I've had.

I just consider it a disease like diabetes.....you just got to teke your meds whether you want to or not! :rotfl2:

Thanks Ladies.

Connie - how did your mom like staying at the Good Samaritan Village while you were gone? I think you mentioned that she was going to do a trial stay?

Hope you enjoyed your cruise....was this the cruise that had the small fire?

Thanks, problem with all this is I don't feel sick, no pain or anything. I was told I have blood in my urine after a yearly physical last week and am now going through a bunch of tests. I haven't seen any and have no pain so don't know what is up.
Carol

Lots of different things can cause this, including caffine, asprin and ibuprofen.

Hi Everybody

What a lovely day today and very humid today not like Scotland!!

Am going back to the Dr on the 19th to talk about meds & some other issues. Depression has been getting worse over the last month....want to get things back on the up swing again.

Last Sunday I just cried for no reason for about a 1/2 hr (really balled (sp?)) and then this past Friday at work the lead agent came over in the am and asked me if I would issue tickets for the last 1 1/2 hrs of the day and I almost burst out crying then too. Want to bite all my co-workers heads off to. At times like this I really wished I worked from home.

Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, pixie dust, s and support. I don't know if you guys realize how much they (and you) mean to me (as my eyes start to tear up). Must stop now or I will start crying & don't want to have to explain that here at work.

Oh Monica  :grouphug:  I know that feeling and not easy. Hope you feel better soon, bounce back soon ::yes::.

I have not forgot about the photos and sorry still busy now and try to get it done soon.

Hi Tink rules

Michelle

I booked for 24 Oct for Eastern with Disney Cruise but remember it is DUMMY OR DUMMIES as I don't think we can afford it next year:sad1:

Gas/petrol/foods go up more expensive now:scared1:

When this Nov/Dec when we hear the announcement for 2010 then we might change it to 2010.

I still go to New York next year:thumbsup2 .

Things are going up very quickly here right now aren't they Deborah!:sad2:

Latest is British Gas that has announced a 35% rise!!!

As our petrol is your gas, what is our gas over there? That is gas fuel for cooking, heating etc.

Did he get stung? I've never heard of a ground bee hole.

Yes, he did get stung. :scared1: I am not sure if they were bees or wasps but they were yellowish and in a hole near a light post. He was not a happy camper.

Monica, and lots of pixiedust: for you. I am still dealing with these issues too. I am doing meds and going to therapy. I haven't cried since I cleaned out my mother's house three years ago and I really think that is a lot of my problem. I have always been a crier and cried for just about any reason. Now I don't cry at all. My doctor and I think that if I can get to the point where I can have a good cry then I will truly be on the mend. I have always been a person of strong emotions and it would be nice to get to a point where I can feel them again.

Lots of different things can cause this, including caffine, asprin and ibuprofen.

Here are some more.... :grouphug:

.

I only drink weak tea, and one Pepsi a day and don't take asprin or ibuprofen. I do take Excedrin though for my migraines. Apparently the IVP test came back yesterday and they saw a shrinkage in my uretha. The voice mail I got yesterday says that they are now considering sending me to a urologist. Need to call them back this morning.

We call it gas also. Although some people do use propane for heating. We did when we first moved in here. Had it converted because the tanks were in the basement and I didn't like that.

Please keep us posted Carol.

Holly, keep it up. No matter what Tyler's dad says you are doing a great job and are not crazy and I am sure the doctor will recognize that.

Thanks Carol, this really means a lot to me because his dad and stepmom are so adamant about their opinions, I was starting to 2nd-guess myself. And you're right about the doctor knowing what's up. I'm sure he's had plenty of experience with conflicts just like this and will be able to sort out the facts.

Funny puppy story (at least to me, not so much to puppy). We were out for our morning walk this morning and as usual Mickey was checking out everything including any hole he could find. He came across one, jumped back and just stared. Then he started rubbing his nose and rolling like crazy. He had discovered a ground bee hole. :scared: After that he was more than ready to come in and not venture too far from me. Now he is asleep on my lap. Oh, the life lessons the poor puppy must learn.:thumbsup2 :lovestruc

Carol
Ouch! Poor Mickey! Glad he's OK though. :thumbsup2

Monica:      Here's hoping a medication adjustment will do the trick for you. And of course, we're always here too! :grouphug:

Connie, welcome back! I hope you had a great time! :goodvibes

Just had to share a funny moment. When I dropped Tyler off at his dad's last night, his dad was very nice, came out to help get Tyler's bike out of my trunk, etc. We were in his garage and he said, "Come on in so we don't stand in the heat". I told him I needed to get going to the eyeglasses store to get Tyler's glasses fixed so that I could take them to him at school in the morning before work. He told me, "OK, but you can just go through the house to get out, it's quicker". We went in through the back door, and as soon as stepmom heard my voice, I saw her get up off the couch and stomp down the hallway. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's just funny because she does hold a grudge. Last time she got angry with me and tried to provoke me through e-mail (which I didn't respond to then either), was when we had scheduled Tyler neuropsych eval for October and she wanted me to wait until January because of their co-pay, and I refused, etc. That time, she didn't speak to me or even make eye contact for about a month. :rotfl: I suspect this time will be the same. :lmao:

Then his dad called me today and was super nice again, asked me if when I take Tyler's glasses to him if I could also take a pair of tennis shoes too for bike riding. No anger coming from him. :thumbsup2

And also, no e-mail today from dad or stepmom telling me about "negative side effects" that they're seeing. I think all the benefits I've been sharing by e-mail with his dad are finally sinking in. At least I hope so.
