This is from a week from yesterday right after losing another tooth. I wanted to capture that jack-o-lantern smile! That was our first traumatic tooth loss. It happened during karate class, he was lying on the floor screaming, "MY TOOTH, MY TOOTH!" and there was lots of blood. So anyway, I've been taking a picture each time he loses a tooth to someday have sort of a cute collage.

wow snow? Yesterday it was 80 here....we could have gone swimming! Today rainy......

One day last week, our office manager grumpily told everybody "there's a box of decorations in the copy room if anybody wants to use them". Usually the office decorations consist of an ugly red velvet bow on each cubicle and a wreath in the lobby. SO.....I went a little crazy with the stuff I found! This is my cube:

This is a view looking down the hall past my cube. Others followed my lead and decorated too, but only 2 of us used lights:

A few pics from the lock-in at the YMCA last weekend.

He honestly didn't get any farther than this, but as a co-worker pointed out, he got farther than me since I didn't even try it!

The pool, slide in the background, and there's a splash pool too with fountains and buckets that dump water on you randomly. The picture looks funny because I did it through the window since I didn't want to take my camera in near the pool.

3:30 a.m. He finally crashes! We slept beneath the rock climbing wall.

we're off the ship and on the bus. i posted something from the ship this am but i don't see it--maybe it didn't go through. it's raining and we're all tired so we might be napping when we get to OKW. The cruise was wonderful! it'll be nice to be home and be on my own computer again! i haven't been able to read, just post. love you all!

I'm off to find a snow bib for Ethan and snow coats for both of them. It is going to snow in the mountains this weekend and even though it is a lot of money to spend on one weekend, it will be worth it to have a weekend alone with Jon. BTW it is going to be 80 here again today. I guess Mother Nature can't make up her mind.

Just sharing a few pictures before I forget again. These are from last week when Tyler tried to build his first snowman of the season. Unfortunately, we were too busy with appointments and stuff when the snow was right for packing. By the time we had a free day, the snow was just powder, so no snowman. He compromised though. Tyler said, "I KNOW! I can still make a snowman, watch!" And he created flat snowman!

I'm off to find a snow bib for Ethan and snow coats for both of them. It is going to snow in the mountains this weekend and even though it is a lot of money to spend on one weekend, it will be worth it to have a weekend alone with Jon. BTW it is going to be 80 here again today. I guess Mother Nature can't make up her mind.

Are you shipping them off the the snow on their own???????? Or are they going to stay with your dear, sweet MIL???????

OH MY GOSH, that's the hardest I've laughed in a long time! I shared that with co-workers and they got some great laughs too!

Just popping in on the free internet at the Royal Pacific Resort. We upgraded to Club Level seeing as we are spending most of the day indoors while the horrid heavy rain and winds go. We can eat and drink here too!!!

Hi from OKW and my laptop! Yes, the rain is pouring, but I think we're going to head out to MK soon. We have a beautiful 2 BR place with a nice balcony that overlooks a big grassy area. So nice!

Thanks to everyone who has given me help and suggestions for this trip. I think my heart will always be with DL, but I can't wait to come back here (only not during the summer!)

BTW, I booked both the EB and WB TA while on board. Now I have options!

You don't believe we went through the whole renovation with smiles on our faces? We actually only really argued on days when Ken was trying to work on it and I was trying to get kids to activities and so wasn't stopping to assist when he needed it. I'm happy to say we only resorted to the mature act of name calling once. We did have lots of long discussions though. Picking paint colours and countertops took hours of talking but it finally worked out.

Speaking of aging role models, yesterday my young pups at work were teasing each other.

One got a new haircut and the others were saying, "Dude, you look sooo old. You look like you're about 40!"

I piped in and said, "Might I point out that 40 is 13 years younger than I am? And might I also point out that I have not yet give all of you your annual performance reviews yet?"

The older I get the more I realize how relevant age is. At 20 I couldn't imagine being 40. Now my kids think I'm really old. When we watch So You Think You Can Dance, Kaleigh kept asking if the contestants are older than me (they are 18-29) which I take as a good thing.

We are on the September 12, 2009 Tortola cruise with our kids and the granddaughter who is due next week.

We are buying no presents. We will leave Christmas day, drive 11 hours to Pennsylvania and spend the week with our kids and meet the soon-to-arrive-granddaughter We will write the kids each a check and come home shortly after New Years. The trip is our present to each other and the checks are our presents to the kids.

What's a snow bib? I grew up with snow every winter, and I've never heard of a snow bib? Snow pants, snow shoes, snow boots, snow coat, snow hat, snow mitts, snow shovel, snow paint, but no snow bib

Shannon, I believe snow bib refers to the type of snow pants that have the suspenders attached with an upper part, so they look like bib overalls, as opposed to the snow pants fasten just like pants and stop at the waist where pants would stop.

Oooooo now I have to do some thinking. I just got a couple of titles (I used the money from trade ins at GameStop). I've got to put my thinking cap on!

I love the PS3. Think of it more as a media center. Very different from the Wii. Both are great, just different, and it's a wonderful blu-ray player to boot.
