the next morning I woke up with a kidney stone...


Which COULD be a good sign...


Cause I was going to go and see if I could get out and get some work to do...

But I've been a little about getting my resume together and getting out there...

so.. I'll let you know how I do in a couple of days... gotta let this pass... and we'll see what happens..




Btw.. has anyone heard from Kathe? Just wondered how things were on her side of the border...

Karl, I only WISH I could get John on a plane again. For the Hawaii cruise the doctor gave him Xanax to get thru the flight and he still swore to me that he's not getting on a plane again. Chicago was easy because we could drive to it in no time.

Thanks for the invite! I would come, but it's not going to happen with John.

I just got off the Dream where I ran into Bonita and she asked that I say to all the Geezers and GIT for her. She has been promoted to a management position but has fond memories from the Panama cruise and the chocolate chip cookie crowd.

I say, get the resume ready and get out there. I think it will do you a world of good. You'll meet new people and have an active social life. You never know what's around the corner. I think it could only be good for you. Be brave and just do it!!!!

I'm making meat loaf and potatoes today. We finished all the grapevine leaves so now it's on to the next meal. We don't cook everyday in this house. We'll usually cook two meals and alternate them until they're gone. For today, it's meatloaf. My grandmother's recipe. It's good.

Hey, John's not retired yet. It would take a week just to drive there and back with stays overnight along the way. We don't have the time that it would take. We're using vaca days in December to go to WDW.

But who knows for next year. We could drive from Florida and take our time. I'll take a rain check. Thanks.

I can't decide if I should buy tickets in advance for WDW or wait until we get down there. I have one day left on my current tickets. We are going to do the parks at least one day, but we're supposed to be house hunting too. I don't know how many days I'll need tickets for.

Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm getting ready to enter into my 2nd week seeing the chiropractor. My neck is not so stiff anymore, so I'm happy. She has me sitting on an exercise ball (the big one) all day (instead of an office chair) and I must say that I keep cracking myself up......it's hilarious getting on/off this thing. I swear I almost fall/roll off atleast 2-3x a day.

Thinking of going up to Northern FL to see a certain someone this weekend. We'll be finalizing things tomorrow. If I do go, I'll hopefully catch up with Lisa & Darrell.

Monday I work 1/2 day so that I can go see Air Supply at Epcot. I missed them last year. Survivor is here on Saturday.

Next year...

We can certainly keep that in mind. I would love to drive across the country with John. Also, I would love to see Santa Barbara. I loved going north of LA....we got as far as Malibu. I didn't like south of LA all that much. We did the coastline and having grown up with east end Long Island beaches, I was not impressed. I'm spoiled. That's why I liked going north better.
