Off soon to our overnight hotel before our cruise leaves tomorrow. Visiting John's mum on the way so a long day. Not been on such a long journey for almost a year as not good travelling in cars these days, but it will be worth it in the end. 12 days of doing nothing and being waited on will make a huge difference.

Though we aren't going on the cruise to compare cruise lines etc, I will give you a little resume when back. We aren't doing any excursions as I wouldn't cope so relaxation is the theme!!

YAY!!!!! Marilyn, I'm so glad you're getting to go on a cruise....any cruise will do. I'm just so happy you are able to go. Have a nice visit with John's mum and you just relax and rest on your cruise. I can't wait to hear how you liked it when you get back. Post some pics on FB if you can.

It's football Sunday today for me. John is out grocery shopping. I'll be watching football from 1:00pm until the late game ends at around 11:30pm. YAY! John is making pasta with garlic bread and we have a bottle of red wine from Halifax to open. I love football Sundays.

First Survivor airs and then Big Brother follows. One starts and another ends.

I love reality TV shows. John hates them. It's a good thing we have two televisions. hahaha.

Thanks Deb! It's the only reality show I watch. I didn't realize it was starting, so missed the first one but watched it online a week later right before the 2nd week's episode came on, so I got to watch 2 back to back.

I hope they found out what was wrong with her and fixed it. How are you? You got past the family over the 80th birthday. That's a good thing. What else do you have going on?

Holly, where are you? I miss you being here. What's going on with Loie. Is he back home now? Did his parents leave for the family reunion? You can't just leave us hanging. You have to update us.

Sorry, life is so busy, keeping up with FB is all I can handle, and sometimes that's a struggle.

Loie. He hasn't talked to me since the day before Labor Day. And the only reason he talked to me that day was because he called Tyler because Tyler left him a voicemail telling him to thank his parents for gifts they brought over for him one week when he was at his dad's (gifts for me too, nice Victoria Secret stuff). And Tyler naturally says "You wanna talk to my mom?" The phone was up loud, so I could hear Loie's end of the conversation, he said "No, that's OK.....well, OK, sure." So he didn't really want to. He's mad and the friendship is over. No more contact at all.

Oh, and his parents were supposed to leave 9/11, but never did. I was shocked to see his dad outside a week ago. I have no idea why or what's going on, and probably never will. Bizarre. Today is exactly 4 weeks since I spoke with Loie. I've slowly been letting go and healing. I'd thought it would be hard with him living next door, but nobody ever comes out of the house, so I never see him, so that makes it easier. I have heard screaming matches between him and his mom 3 times this past week, but I just turn the TV up or if I'm sleeping and it wakes me, I just go sleep in Tyler's room or the living room couch where I can't hear it.

I hate not knowing if he's OK, but he doesn't want anybody around or to be a part of his problems (none of his friends have come over since before he took off and disappeared for a while), and as far as I know, he's still mad at me, so there's nothing I can do except put him out of my head. Moving on with life. Sorry to leave everybody hanging.

Well I'm done watching the football games on today and my teams lost in all three games.....I wanted the Jets, Raiders and Giants to win. They all lost. Not a good day for football afterall. Oh well, there's always next week.

I am good, thanks for asking

Last week was too busy trying to get in the visits for the twice a month kiddos before the month was over and since I had been gone for that Disney week, I had all the kiddos I normally see in 4 weeks mushed into one week before vacation and one week after.

This week positively feels like a vacation, I took a friend to her MD appt and to run errands today, will lunch tomorrow with some friends who are missionaries to Latvia but in Indiana for their son's wedding this past Saturday. Wednesday is Bible study and help the church secretary and NO CLIENTS afterwards. I only have three this week and all are on Thursday.

So I am getting some serious work done on the baby afghans I am making!!

How is everyone else?

Yup, makes perfect sense. I agree. I know it's not me because he shut all his friends out. I know because nobody ever even comes over to his house anymore and there used to be friends coming and going every single day, quite a hub of activity. Now it's almost like an abandoned house. Tyler went over there tonight to sell scout popcorn. I knew Loie would buy from him, he always does, and he really likes Tyler, so I'm glad he's not acting any differently towards him. I considered being the one to deliver his popcorn Thursday night but decided I'd rather not because it's clear he doesn't want anybody around. I will respect that and let him be. I hope he finds peace.
