It's nearly 6:00am and I'm anxiously waiting until 6:45am when we leave today for NYC and the Magic. I woke up at 4:00am and could not go back to sleep. I'm too thrilled and excited. This always happens to me the night before the cruise. But usually I'm in a hotel! haha! It feels weird to leave home and go straight to the port. It feels weird to be going to NYC to get to the port. I'm just happy that I'll be stepping onto the Magic later today!! YAY!!!

I won't have my laptop with me on this cruise....not buying any internet for only 5 nights. This will probably be our least expensive cruise ever.

I will post pictures on FB when I get back. I'll keep my phone on airplane mode to use the camera, but I can't upload to FB from sea or from Canada.

Thanks Jan. It was a perfect cruise. We had beautiful weather except for when we were in port in Halifax. We had no problems with the hurricanes. We were extremely pampered on this cruise and we loved it.

DVC Member Cruise is 4 nights on the DREAM. Two stops at CC and one day at sea. We will spend a night at OKW before and two at AKL after.

So now that we are home, the kid went on vacation for the next two weeks. YAY!!! Me and John have the whole place to ourselves and we like it that way.

Sadly for the kid, he went to Ohio to pack out his mother. She just retired and is moving to Florida also. So he's helping her move down there. hahaha. She's moving to the Sebastian area so she won't be near us when we go. Good! She already has a sister and her father that live in that area.

That puts Sandi and Joe right in between her and us. Sandi is in Rockledge, which is near Cocoa Beach and the port. We don't expect to see much of her and Joe after we move down. We don't want to. John is finished with her. He says she is not his daughter anymore....she is Joe's puppet. And neither one of us likes Joe.

We'll be living close enough to my cousin and Uncle so that we can see them. They are in Bradenton near Sarasota. Me and John both love my cuz and Unc.

When the kid gets home from moving his mother to Florida.....he has to help me pack out this house so that we can move. He'll be home in two weeks. So beginning October 1st we'll be packing for Florida. I'm excited about it and at the same time I dread it. I want to be there already, but not do all the packing and moving.

Tonight John is cooking steak and sausage on the BBQ. Tomorrow we are going out to dinner. John wants to go to Red Lobster. I will go and order some lobster. I didn't get to eat one in Eastern Canada. I only had lobster ravioli at Palo. It was YUM!!! But I didn't get to eat a lobster tail, which is the part I like. John likes the unlimited shrimp that they have.

Next weekend we'll go out to eat at my favorite place, Olive Garden. I get their chicken parmesean. I love it. But I just had that at Palo brunch so I can wait another week.

I can't wait to get to Florida and have Mimi's. I like the Cheesecake Factory too. I wonder if there is one near Orlando? I'll have to look it up.

I'm afraid we're going to miss you this trip Alfred. We'll be there DEC 7-15. But we should be living there by your next trip. You'll have to come over for a dinner party. John is a great cook and loves to do it for guests.

I just broke 14,000 posts. I love the DIS.

I did my exercise bike again today. I was able to walk a little better without so many stops in between getting from one place to another on the Magic this last cruise. I think that's because I've been using my exercise bike. At home, it's the only activity I have. I'll have more opportunities when we get to Florida. I'm looking forward to a lifestyle change.
