I tried one of the lectures by the Professor on the HI cruise but was falling asleep after about 5 minutes, so I had to leave to go find something fun. I'm not a lectures kind of person. Figured I could Google whatever I wanted to learn after I got home.

It's a beautiful sunny weekend! I'll start enjoying it as soon as my head stops pounding. Until then, I'm enjoying it from inside, laying on my couch with all the windows open. Might have to turn the A/C on, definitely before the 90s return tomorrow, but for now it's comfy and beautiful!

I sat and BSed with my hubby over three cups of coffee this morning.....I love leisurely Sunday mornings.

Now John is outside cleaning the grill and getting it ready to use today. We have some lovely skinless boneless breasts of chicken to cook.

The kid is inside vacuuming. He cleans our house and we pay him. It works for us and it works for him. When we move to Florida, we'll pay Merry Maids.

I'm just messing with my laptop and checking out cyberspace with HLN news on in the background. Did you know that they threw a mother in jail in NC I believe for screaming out at her daughter's graduation when she went up to get her diploma. Can you imagine. How harsh is that. I went to Tristan's and Casey's graduation and screamed my head off for both of them. Should I have gone to jail for it? I think not.

I went to Tristan's and Casey's graduation and screamed my head off for both of them. Should I have gone to jail for it? I think not.

is that skinless boneless flavorless? chicken! The skin and fat is where the flavor is

and they had the cops on site is repulsive to me. that means they were looking bust people. cause if they were there just to KEEP the PEACE. they would have just ask her to go outside.

Yup Karl, absolutely flavorless except that John marinates it in anything that's in the fridge at the time...... It's the low calorie version of chicken.....gotta keep the calories low and the activity high. That's the right formula to keep the scale going in the right direction. Then I just keep swimming......I love it V. Thanks.

It is repulsive!!! I don't think it's right even if they were there just to keep the peace and ask her to go outside. She has every right under this sun to express her happiness. I think it's at the right time and in the right place. It should not be a problem for the majority. So they are wrong just for being present.

Now watching half the graduating class run off for a fire whistle had to be the funniest thing ever. How long did you have to wait and sit there for them to come back? That must have really been a long and boring wait. I'm glad things worked out though....too funny!

Yeah.. it was funny... caps and gown were being thrown off as they ran across the field to the fire house.

Almost as good as the time when someone set their house on fire at 6 PM on Xmas eve... (that's when Santa comes into town on a fire truck...) (all of a sudden... Santa was going the wrong way...and it was my friend Patrick who was strapped into the sleigh as Santa )

We didn't wait too long for either... but that's life in a small town.

I may be in the minority, but if they asked to hold the cheering until all had been called up, then I would wait. Polite to respect the wishes of those holding the ceremony - and not make the ceremony last all night if it is a large graduating class. As for this particular woman, I would need to know exactly how she behaved, (was she completely disruptive??) how she was asked to stop and how she responded to that request until I make any judgements about her or the police.

She was not asked to stop. They were all asked not to start. she cheered she was arrested. that simple.

They were looking to make an example out of the first 1 to cheer. peace through intimidation, and also a profit center (i.e. revenue enhancement) with fines.
