You have such a great attitude about it all ::yes::

I bet the DCL-run Champagne Girls events do not have bottles being opened past the $20 per person amount :rolleyes1

Michelle--I like the secret handshake part and password! Maybe "Sassy Bubbles":yay: or "Bobby Banana" or "Pink Tink" :tink: can be the password.

.

I prefer to see the glass half full....why dwell on the negative when there was so much positive as well.

I like SASSY BUBBLES as the secret password.

A secret party :woohoo:
.
:confused3 How many Champagne Girls can you fit in a stateroom? :rotfl:

:ssst: If you have your party the same time as the DIS party, no one will know

.

We can work it out and do it "underground" so no one will know but us.

& we can do it like a REAL speakeasy... bathtub bubbly!!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes (well, we can chill it there... poor stateroom host who has to bring all that ice in... we'll tip him well!!! :woohoo::woohoo:)

Just as long as it's not in my room....hahaha.

I think if I take off the trim from the outside I should be able to get to the locking mech. Hopefully it will work. trying tomorrow.. I have a headache tonight and I think the door is part of it!

Pics are great Deb! :goodvibes

Thanks Shell. Shutters took them. John scanned them and I just posted.

This is exactly how I feel. I booked the 12/15/12 Fantasy but am not thrilled. I just did it because I promised Tyler we'd do it in exchange for him not going on the Hawaii cruise. I know, I don't have to do that and he does not expect it, so that just makes me want to even more. He's dying to try the Aquaduck and a few other things available on the Fantasy, but we are both apprehensive about double the amount of people onboard. I've been on a ship that big and it was just so crowded and busy. But if we don't like it, it's OK because I'm considering the May 2013 Transatlantic out of Galveston. Heather is trying so hard to convince me, LOL! School is the big roadblock though. Once I find out who his teacher is, I will talk with that person and see what he or she thinks about missing 2 weeks at the end of the school year. He'd only have one week of school when we get home, so it might not be a big deal, but I don't know what kind of testing there is in 5th grade, so I'll have to check into it. :woohoo: And I'd love to see Tammy B again!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have the 5 night out of NYC in Sept and then we only have a dummy date after it. I'm so used to seeing one or two upcoming cruises. I'm going to get paranoid after the sept cruise and I don't know when I'll be back onboard. But we're moving and that has to come next before I book another cruise. So I don't know when I'll get back on another cruise. It will be with discounts though.

YES THE PICTURES ARE GREAT DEB!

Michelle: The channel is kind of shaped like two Es next to each other. One door slides on the middle post of one E and the other slides on the middle post of the other E. You can take off the trim if you want, but it is outside that top line of the E so you will only be exposing the metal of the E track itself.

The door top and bottom are more like U which straddles the inner post of the E.

If you have a slightly handy neighbor on the homeowner's association you could ask for some help. Or give a call to Home Depot or some such-place and describe the problem. It should be an easy fix and not expensive if it is just riding on the edge of its track not straddling it.

 Good luck

Thanks Jan.

I like your photos too Holly....especially the one with you and Mahi.

:debwalk:

Tonight DrHug was showing friends his new Hawaiian shirts he got (total of 3 in addition to the 14 he already had!) and he told them his Cabana Boy shirt is his favorite of all of them. He really loves it and it did look good on all of them. :thumbsup2

I'm just not sure how well it fits in Montana....maybe in the Summer.

AND YES, they all certainly looked good in them.

.....speaking of macadamia nuts....

don't leave your luggage in your car parked in your sister's driveway for 6 hours in 100 degree heat

I now have a block of nuts in chocolate...or in Jackie-speak, a giant chocolate nut-wad :lmao:

.

OH NO.....none of mine came home with me. I ate them all onboard.

Photos are great Deb.

Well I think anyone can have a private get together can't they as long as some money changes hands with DCL!!!

I can tell DCL that it's a private birthday party and we just order champagne!! Forget the sommelier!!! But we must still all wear pink and sassy has to be sailing.

We'll just pretend we're the only ones on the ship in December :) The number of people has me debating a cabana on castaway. One day I think yes then the next I'm like no - it's december and the weather may be cool enough to keep a large number of people on the ship.

We're curious to see the new ships but I think whenever possible we'd prefer to stick to the Magic and Wonder.

I've only been on the Dream, but the classics will always be my favorite.....the Magic especially. The Dream was nice too, but too big for me. I liked the new Palos and Shutters. I liked PINK and all the little sitting alcoves around the ship. But it's too darn big.

I'll be in 5122 on the Magic in Sept. Even though it's only 5 days, I'm really looking forward to it.
