Family cruise is 3 weeks from tomorrow...don't know if I will know anything before then or not.

Just 3 weeks....OMG....are you packed yet? Especially with the parents coming before cruise. I could never pack if my parents were there. I can't even pack if John is puttering around. I need total concentration and no interruptions.....or I would be lost and not know what I was bringing.

HOW exciting to be on the ship again in just 3 weeks. YEAH!!!!! Which ship will you be on?

The scans/ultrasound testing are not until the 20th. I would hope I know the results prior to the cruise, but I guess I only want to know ahead of time if it's good news.

Sweetie, you lost more than that in inches....I saw your new profile picture and there's half of you missing. So the weight reflects muscle growth and is not a real indicator. You look spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of your efforts are worth it and paying off. You're getting some great results. Keep it going girl!!!!!!!!

HD is now on the Fantasy. I'm hoping Simone will be on board, but he hasn't replied to my email or my post on FB.

I'm not 100% ready for Mom/Dad, but with the other stuff coming up, they are the lowest stresser for me right now (can you believe that???)

Your testing is in ten days and your cruise is in three weeks. You should DEFINITELY hear from them before you leave, especially if the news is not good.....then you will hear from them immediately. So if it's not good you will hear before your cruise. If you don't hear then it's good news and not to worry.

Try not to think about it until you know what you're dealing with because this worry could all be for nothing. Think about seeing the niece and nephew (not sure if I can mention their names) on the boat and how cool it's going to be to have everyone all together.....you and Lisa and mom and dad back together again....and with the little ones too.....well one is the other is quite tall. hahaha.

I'm hoping to talk them into going to St Petersburg for a few days....I don't know if I can handle ALL that together time, especially since we're staying in the same room on board the ship

Lisa & her family arrive into Central Florida on the 31st--we're all staying at the Country Inn & Suites in Port Canaveral on the 31st. I'll be able to watch the Fantasy sail away for her official Maiden Voyage, plus not have to worry about driving out to the pier on the 1st.

I am looking forward to seeing the kids....I really hope everyone has a good time.

Don't worry about being with the family for so long. You'll have escapes. Just leave the room and wander to a quiet little cove that they have throughout that ship. Afterwards at home, plan activities for them to keep busy. Then you can enjoy when you're together without it being too much. Make it a good memorable time. When they get on a nerve, think of how many more times you have left to do things like this and that you will miss this one day. It will put it into perspective for you and help with the stresses.

I know it helped me a lot with my mom in the end. It was the first time ever that we never argued about anything. I was completely calm and understanding with her. I let her say or do anything she wanted and it didn't bother me when normally it would have. I just kept seeing her as not being here for long and I knew that I would miss this time that I had. It works. It will keep you sane and you will have a better time if you remember that.

Well, Maysie is planning on her next triathalon... in SPAIN!!!!


She's qualified for the USA team for the triathalon in Vitoria Spain on July 29th... we have to fund raise for her. I THINK I might have found a sponsor for her... but I also gave her the link to a website where people can donate right to her.. I told her if she can get 240 of her friends/teammates to donate $10 each.. then she can go!!! (I told her to hit up my brother Timmy for at least $20!!! (he's the cheap one in the family...lolol) I promised I'd be her first $10!!!

Mom's 80 this year.. she's healthy and I'm lucky.. but I've had to face the fact that we won't be able to go places together some day soon... she's making me grow up...

Then again... I've already figured I have you guys to go places with!!!!

Enjoy the time that you have right now with your mom. You only get one and you will miss her more every day when she is not with you.

Shell, you are already grown up and besides, we always go to the same places so we'll always be there with you.
