Tonight I'm happy and feeling like I'm really going to Hawaii. I'm now paid in full and have booked my airfare. I'm on Southwest from Phili to Orange County via Chicago (IAN, I'll wave) and I only paid $660 for both RT tickets. That's really good. That's the best that I have done for west coast airfare. I thought I would have to pay a higher amount since I'm booking so late. Usually I book a year in advance. But it looks like it was worth the wait.

That's great! Are you heading home on the 14th? What time are you flying out?

Nope, taking one day in LA after....maybe drive down to San Diego. Staying in Doubletree again. Going home on Wed 15th. Flying out late afternoon.

I had a lovely weekend....beautiful weather all weekend long.

Sat - went to the library, then hung out at DTW (tables across from WOD & Ghiradelli's) until my cousin showed up...we then sat there and talked for about 2 hrs before she had to go meet the rest of her group. We're going to see each other again this Saturday coming up. Stopped by Michael's on the way home, then spent the night :happytv:, :drinking1, :surfweb:(playing words w/ friends) & crafting. :lmao: Fell asleep about 5am.

Sun - up at 10am...played :surfweb:, then met a friend for a movie....we then went and ate late lunch/early dinner at the outside area of Raglan Road. Home in time to sort of watch the Super Bowl, while :surfweb: & crafting again.

Spending time today :surfweb: (playing words w/ friends with someone from my past ;)), listening to music & working on & off.

That sounds like a really lovely (Marilyn's word!) weekend. :cloud9:

I have good news.....without doing a diet per say, but really watching what I eat I lost 14 lbs. of water weight in my legs and since then have lost an additional 6 lbs. for a total of 20. Good! At least I'm going in the right direction again. Now I have to start adding some physical activities too.

Wow Deb, this is GREAT news! Congrats!!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

After working most of the day Saturday (from home), and last night after Tyler went to bed until 3am, I am NOT working from home tonight. :goodvibes Probably won't tomorrow either. Taking a much needed break from all the chaos and emotional stress from this transition (today and tomorrow off for a school field trip). I do love working from home though. The Cloud is awesome! :thumbsup2 Our computers and equipment at work got delivered today, techs started installing, everything should be done by the end of the day tomorrow. Woohoo!!!! Jan had been using a laptop she brought in from home, and I had been using somebody's wife's old dinosaur borrowed computer. No printer, no scanner, etc. We'll be using a borrowed printer and scanner for a while, but that's not a big deal. We're using borrowed half broken transcribing machines, but we're switching to digital dictation soon, so no more micro cassette tapes that break all the time! :cool1: And we'll be having discussions any day now about pay. It will be nice to know how much I'm making, and when I'll get paid. Things are getting better and better every day! I can't believe how happy I am now! :dance3:

Sounds like everything is coming together nicely now and it will be even better than it was before. That's awesome news. I'm so happy for you. Enjoy the field trips.

Watching the Giants Parade of Champions on TV right now. It's downtown NYC. My girlfriend's son and grandson are in that crowd. I remember doing it in 1986 when the Giants won and I lived and worked in the City. It's a lot of fun to do when you're young, but it's too much of a crowd for me to do these days. I would have to keep running to the bathroom. hahaha.

PROP 8 overturned....:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

This is excellent news.....now Ian and Sukie are doubley married....once in CA and once in IL. It's weird that your marriage is recognized by some, but not all states. I can't even imagine. I guess it is progress of a sort though....better than not at all.

I told Ian that they should just go from state to state to state and tie the knot in each one... (but wouldn't that make them bigamists? 50 times over????:scared1::scared1::scared1:)

UGH....I have more paperwork to do today and I just don't feel like it. I have no motivation. I have no energy. I feel Blah!

On top of feeling like this, it's supposed to snow today and it sure feels cold enough. We're only supposed to get a light dusting. I hope so for John's sake so that he can get up the driveway tonight.

I have to get my tax stuff together this week...goal is to do them this weekend.

I'm not feeling 100% either....quite tired & headachey. Hope I'm not getting a sinus infection or head cold....ugh too.

:hug::hug:

Monica put me in touch with a friend of hers that's a real estate agent in Orlando. YEAH!!!!! Thanks Mon.

We messaged each other on FB last night. I got excited thinking about the move and that it's real now. Monica's friend said that if I want to move in Feb 2013 then I should be signed up by this summer. She said it's a six month process. Wow! Good thing I'm starting early.

Sorry you feel that way Mon, but I can so relate.

What's your weather there? Ours is cold and dark and expecting snow. Yuck! I need Florida sunshine.
