looking forward to Cheri's arrival tonight.

she's playing with Deb & John at Epcot for F&W tomorrow, then we'll be back at Epcot on Thursday (I'm working 1/2 day). We'll be doing DAK & MK Friday/Saturday. Dinner Thursday night at Nine Dragons for my birthday & Boma's Friday night (with friend Ros from 2010 EBTA...she is also on this Nov B2B).

Unseasonably warm here. Supposed to be in the 60s tomorrow. Sunny and beautiful days for raking leaves this week! At least we're going to try to rake leaves. Time is always an issue after homework and supper, etc. Haven't even had time to sell popcorn, so we need to work on that this week too.

We both actually enjoy raking though, so that will probably be our weekend fun.

Holly - how's the week been so far for Tyler?

Cheri got in ok last night & we spent many hours gabbing & laughing. I think I finally went to bed just before 2am. Didn't fall asleep right away, but once I did fall asleep, it was deep sleep.

She's off playing at F&W in Epcot w/ Deb & John today, while I slave away here at work No clue when she will come rolling in tonight. I'm assuming she will close the park.

Tomorrow I only work 4 hrs (1130a-330p) then it's off to Epcot to meet Cheri (unless she chooses a lie in day) & then Will/Mickey are joining us for dinner at Nine Dragons for my bday.

Friday will probably be DAK, followed by dinner at Boma & Saturday will probably be MK, followed by dinner in Port Canaveral with the rest of the crazy bunch that is doing the B2B.

Holly - how's the week been so far for Tyler?

I almost hesitate to say this, but so far so good! I talked with the special ed teacher about taking him to see Phineas & Ferb live as a reward if the whole week goes well, and she suggested not telling him what the surprise is because otherwise he can't handle the anticipation and excitement, it's too much pressure. She says he doesn't handle it well knowing something exciting is coming at the end of the week. But not knowing what it is will work for him because he doesn't know if it's worth getting excited, over. So when things start to get rocky and he winds up in time outs, she keeps reminding him that he's trying to work towards a fun surprise this weekend and that seems to help so far. I'm making sure to tell him how well he's doing and that he only has 2 more days in the school week until he gets a break over the weekend. And next week is a short school week because of parent teacher conferences, so it helps him knowing that little break is coming too.

things didn't go as planned today....I was supposed to get off work at 330p today & head over to Epcot. Well, last night 1 of the other agents (there are 3 of us total right now) was rushed to the hospital & into surgery. She's supposed to be out a minimum of 5-10 days, so my manager asked me if there was anything I could do today & tomorrow (I was supposed to be off). Well, I couldn't let just 1 person work this account, so working til 5pm today & till 5pm tomorrow. Have dinner at Nine Dragons tonight & Boma tomorrow. Not missing those.

Yes, it's still growing! The package says it can take up to 10 days to grow, so we're letting it grow the full 10 days and see what happens. I'll post a picture. And one of the bat too. He finished that tonight.

Well, tomorrow morning I will be doing the yucky chore of cleaning the guinea pig cage for THE LAST TIME! . I finally found a new home for them and they will be picked up on Sunday. They will join one other male guinea pig the same age. Their new owner has had many piggies in her life, and takes them from the humane society too to give them loving homes (along with lots of other small critters too). I feel confident that they will be given lots of attention and be well taken care of. GONE is the expense of the food, hay, bedding, eye drops for one of them, etc. And they will probably be happy to not be smacked around by the cat. I will miss them, for sure, and so will Tyler (he asked to hold each of them for a while tonight) but want what's best for them and I know a new home is what's best for them so they can get the attention they deserve.
