OH NO! I thought it was 12/30, so that's TWO fewer paychecks to come up with the $ than what I'd thought! That means only 4 paychecks until due date. Uggghh.... :faint:: But no worries, I'll be on that boat! :thumbsup2

My favorite TA, Monica, checked for me. It seems there are three different PIF dates. I got lucky because mine is 2/14/12. Check with your TA and see what your date is. I'm so glad I got lucky otherwise I would be selling my house to go.....hahaha.

So freaking worn out. My co-worker Jan has been on the Magic this past week, so I was working for 2, which is absolutely impossible. It's definitely not a one person job. BUT, I'm grateful I still have a job for now, so I'm NOT complaining, just worn out. Boss was crabby because of how behind I am. Jan won't be back until Tuesday, so I have one more day of being buried. Then Tyler and I had lots of running around, as usual, all week, and trying to sell popcorn. It's harder this time because although he's been the top seller the last 3 years at about $600 each year, one kid has $1100 in sales already, so Tyler is scrambling frantically. He's up to about $420 as of today.

BUT, he's at a sleepover tonight, so I finally get to sit and relax! :thumbsup2

Glad you got to rest up a bit after being so busy. I'll be adding to Tyler's sales at the end of the week.:yay:

Latest updates:

CClub shopping discount (Gold & Platinum) is no longer $25 OBC for every $100 purchased, but instead a 10% discount on most items in the shops. Discount does not apply to Castaway Cay purchases.

On the Magic they have continued with the charging to each stateroom for the suggested tip amount at the beginning of cruise, of course, you still have the option to go to Guest Services and adjust the amounts.

Thanks Deb. I remember the link didn't work for you last year though, so if so, let me know and I'll try to send the email again. :goodvibes

Wow, that's a crummy deal regarding the shopping discount. I guess it's good for people like me who don't spend $100 shopping onboard and wouldn't get the previous $25 OBC anyway, but it's still crummy.

OK...I'll let you know on Friday. You are welcome....Tyler is a great kid that works really hard and he deserves it. Anything I can do to help him works for me!!

So swamped today (on my lunch right now though), and counting down the minutes until my time being the only one on the job is OVER. :thumbsup2 At least this week I get a lunch hour. Last week, while I was working alone, happened to be my week where I don't take a lunch, and that makes for a long and stressful day without having that mental break. Shorter hours, but not having that break makes it seem like so much longer. But.....I survived! :thumbsup2

Glad Jan will be back tomorrow. So happy she was able to heal quickly enough to go on her cruise. Good for you for surviving her absence.

That's very foolish because people spend more to reach that $100....I know I do. And the 10% only gets you $10 off on a $100 purchase. I won't be looking to increase my buying anymore. I think it's a dumb move.

I agree. Bad move on their part.

Hi All!

Hope you had a great weekend! Here's hoping some of you have today off (Thanks to Columbus). I unfortunately do NOT have today off.

Was out of the house today at 7am to take Mom & Dad to the airport - they have now landed safely in MD & are at my sister's house. It was probably 1 of the best visits I've had with them....very happy about that. There were only a few tense moments, but probably mostly because Mom was in pain (she's been having work done in her mouth, and they were supposed to be finished before this trip, but delays happened so she's hurting).

I had a nice visit w/ Jennifer on Saturday (from the EBTA), with Ann & Albert yesterday (brunch) & Will, Mickey & Mom for dinner last night. (Mom & Dad only did the dinner last night).

Dad & I finished the garage (swept & vacuumed)....Mom played interior decorator (she gave us opinions on where to hang things on the wall) & we were even able to have a night of Yatzhee playing (a family tradition).

I must say that it'll feel good to have my space back tonight, but it's tough to see them go.

Monica, glad you had such a nice visit with your parents. :goodvibes
