Well, Ann's going to the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday for a recording of Songs of Praise, a BBC TV programme. It's supposed to be for Christmas transmission, so she has to dress appropriately. I will be dog sitting, providing food etc.

Last Sunday we were both up in London for a UK DIS meet. We were able to meet up with Pete, Walter, John and Kevin from the DIS podcast before they went on to Disney Paris with Adventures by Disney.

We really do live an exciting life over here.

Sounds wonderful - for both of you :goodvibes

You see, this thread is so stimulating and exciting that you need a quiet time to deactivate the brain. Listen to your Mother Michelle. Mother always knows best.

Three weeks tonight we will be having dinner with Deb and John at Ohana's :cheer2::cheer2:

Luckily I have another 6 hours!!! :banana::banana:

Heading out in a few minutes to the St. Georges Greek Festival!!!

Thinking about you Deb as I munch on some goodies!!!

(and the sun is out!!!!)

jumping on to say hi to everyone!

Life has been busy. Putting in extra hours at work has put a big crimp in my computer time.

Trying to start fresh again and check in more often. I miss being up to date on how everybody is doing. :)

Hi everyone :)

We've been pretty busy the last few weeks. Drove up to PA just in time for
Irene to arrive. Spent 9 days in PA thenwent to NC for 2 days then back home.

We just missed the major flooding up in PA by a few days.

Hope everyone is safe and doing well

Hi Lisa..

Was thinking of you and Darrell today...

Went to finally see HP7.5 at the Scotia One Plex... and I was watching the coming attractions... kept saying to myself... "Well, that's one I'll let Lisa go see... :rotfl:"

My mom does that - she'll call me and say "I just saw a commercial and knew it was one of your types of moves."

I think we're going to see either Apollo 18 or Don't Be Afraid of the Dark tomorrow.

I KNOW where Apollo 18 is...

It's laying on it's side in Monument Park at Johnson Space Center in Houston...

Mark and Brian's middle school is across the street from there... They were excited that there was a sports field at the school... & i'm driving down the road going "OMG.. there's a ROCKET!!!"

Well done! Bravo! You managed to outwit Irene, Lee and Katia. You had your visit and you got home safe despite all the wind and rain and floods and fog. Glad you had a good trip and travelled safely.

The boys are back.....the boys are back.....you can tell I have two young adult males in my house now.....the food keeps disappearing immediately. hahaha. Really, we spent $200 at the supermarket two weeks in a row. John said for him and I we spent $200 for a whole month. I need to do some major budget adjustments and hope that they get jobs soon so that they can help pay for groceries.

Hope you had some Baklava and thought of me!

Oh yeah... got another piece I brought home too! :goodvibes

Give them Bologna until they get a job... :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: that'll get them out fast enough.. maybe... :scared1:

I started watching the 911 memorial tribute today at 8:30am. They are still reading the names at 1:00pm. It always amazes me at how long it takes....there were so many people lost. They are up to the W's now. After the ceremony is over, I will watch some football games. I need good old fashioned USA sports to help celebrate life and balance out my day a little.

Yes, and I can't wait....it's all going to be so great! Monica, why don't you meet us down by the Poly after work to watch the fireworks? We could share a cocktail on the beach.

that sounds like it would be a good idea...I probably wouldn't get there until about 945pm tho.
