We arrive at WDW on 28th September for 2 weeks.

We haven't done any of their events before but heard lots of good reviews of their Epcot 25 event on various podcasts.

Miserable wet day here today, sitting watching Royal Ascot in the rain on TV before I leave for my Brownies meeting.

I can't post this on FB yet... I don't know if the kids know (Will's just getting home from school...)

My brother emailed me this morning... "RIELLY PASSED AWAY AT HOME THIS MORNING . A FINE DOG THAT WAS ALWAYS HAPPY TO SEE YOU , HELP PROTECT THE HOUSE, AND LIKED MY COOKING. HE WAS A GREAT DOG. JUST LIKE MAGGIE, WE WILL MISS HIM."

to that... I have to add...

He drove us nuts at first and still thought he should be a lap dog, ate a whole bowl of cole slaw once...and always got upset when he saw me packing to go home. I don't know who's gonna be in the driveway to watch me leave anymore...

This is fascinating stuff. I love it. Hey, maybe the Trolls will meet up with some very nice and elegible Yoopers and have a great time together. I hope so. I sounds like lots of fun. You're going to have the best time ever.

The commercial I saw on TV showed Mackinac Island. Very nice. I'll be looking forward to your FB posts and pics so that I can live vicariously thru you. I'm not going anywhere until the end of September. So your trip will be like my vaca too.

Hello all!

I am here....getting more anxious as I now know that Dad's flight has landed at MCO & he should be off the plane by now, headed to pickup his luggage, then off to get the car rental. He's coming to my office to pick up the keys to my house. He'll head there to rest/eat/ until I get off work. I'll drive home, drop off my car (might as well use the rental) and then we're off to dinner w/ Will, Mickey & Momma Boyd (Mick's mom).

Tomorrow, we're off to Port Richey to go see a man about a car I found one that I like (2010 Ford Focus with less than 19,000 miles), so we're going to go see if we can test drive it.

We're hoping then to meet up with our "cousins" (not blood, but family non-the-less) that live in St Pete.

Have fun with Dad....say hi to Wil and Mickey and good luck with the car......I hope it's just right for you and it all works out well.

Thanks for the link Ann....I just registered me and John. We will be down on Sept 28th and leaving on Oct 3rd. We will get together and meet.....especially now that we have registered for this event. YEAH!!

I should get my cousin to post some pics on FB...she & her hubby went there 1 time and dressed in period costume for their entire visit.

No cars are allowed on the island. Luckily they DO have electricity!!

Oh this is so sad Michelle and so hard too. At least Rielly went peacefully in his sleep. One never knows with animals. My best dog, Gandalf, had to be put down just two days after his 7th birthday. He wasn't with us long enough. Yet my mother's cat, Sam, is close to 20 years old and still alive and kicking. She lives with the kid.

This seems to be the week for it, first Sweetie and then a friend lost her dog and now Rielly. Heaven is a better place for them all being there.

Michelle, sorry for the passing of the puppy. Even when they are not our own, they mean so much to us. (I get teary eyed just thinking about Peg's girls as they are getting older.)
