Having trouble falling asleep again....thought after this weekend I'd be ok. Fell asleep at a "normal" time Sunday, but Monday/Tuesday I got only 5hrs of sleep, and last night it was 3. I know some people can function on that little, but I am so NOT 1 of them!! My sister & I have always needed alot of sleep....even in high school we'd sleep 12hrs+.

Dr gave me something to help me fall asleep, but I've been hesitant to use it....it's not that I'm not tired (cuz believe me, I am), I just can't fall asleep.

Last night I was playing caretaker, for a friend who had surgery on Tuesday. I was at her house until 1130pm (not an issue as she lives only about 15-20 minutes from me). Not a super dooper crazy night....she went to sleep about 9pm, so I just read. Got myself out then cuz I was falling asleep.....should have done it, then driven home when I woke up. Oh well.

Geez, Monica, I hope you're able to get some good sleep soon!

so.....what do people have planned for this weekend??

I know Michelle is going to Jersey (safe travels). What else?

I have to get some work done on my house....lawn (aka weeds) need to be mowed and bushes need to be trimmed....starting to look like an abandoned house :lmao: I'm probably bringing down the property values for my neighbors. I need to finish unpacking the big suitcase and do :laundy:, plus need to start working on clearing out the DVR....thinking of cancelling the cable at home, and once it's cancelled I need to return the DVR. Luckily shows are finishing up for the season, so will have more time to watch what I've saved.

We need to do yardwork too, for the same reason! Our house looks so bad because of it! ;) The neighbor girl had to mow once while we were gone, but she only mowed the front yard, so now this will be my first time mowing for the season and I'll have to do front and back. The back only has to be mowed every other time, so that helps. And we have lots of thistles to dig up (I call them pricker plants). Our yard definitely is not one you can run barefoot in. Then we need to plant some flower seeds Tyler asked for before vacation and has been waiting to plant. Then we have to trim the octopus-like rose bushes. They don't bloom much because I've never really taken care of them, so I was going to just dig them up and get rid of them, but that idea almost gave my mom a heart attack, so she's going to come to town to take them off my hands. :thumbsup2 We want less plants there to attract bees.

That's about it for the weekend, other than house cleaning. BUT................

We're going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 4 tomorrow after school!!!! I already bought our tickets!!! :yay::woohoo::yay::woohoo::yay: Tyler was shocked that I'd take him to a PG-13 movie, but I told him he's already seen all the other pirates movies, so why not? His dad started letting him watch them when he was 4 (but that's a whole other can of worms I don't want to go into), so I figure he's immune to any of the bad stuff in there by now.

My plans for the weekend are to do the chores I didn't do last weekend ;) plus I'm going into the office for a while to finish getting caught up. I'll have a big chunk of change from overtime in my paycheck as I've already done 5 1/2 hours. Catching up from vacation is a pain in the patootie!

I also have to organize my materials for the next cruise and get info off to the family. Poor Dianne doesn't even know the exact dates (been told but not written down) or how much money she owes! :lmao: I've got to put together another box for the NC 'grands', though I don't really want to send Meric's Duffy to him yet 'cause its so cute! The girls are getting tiarras/boas, stickers and a princess coloring book (that I also wish I had for myself too!).

Here's a photo of the 'grands'....my neice makes pretty ones!

Yesterday, I was surpirsed ;) that I received the letter and text from hearing dog office that they think that the dog suit us....

We will be travelling down to York on 30 May for 2 nights and meet Peggy, 16 months old female labrador. I was so shocking after had 4 years waiting list and we were thinking to give it up last week...

So we decide to meet Peggy and see if she like us:love:

I received a photo of her, oh she look so beautiful... so we wait and see...

I will let you know how we get on ...

Deborah, what wonderful news!!!! :dance3:

I actually really should mow today, but there's not enough time to do that and shower and get Tyler some supper before Cub Scouts tonight. Besides, it rained the first half of the day, so the grass will be wet and soggy, hard to cut, so it will have to wait until tomorrow after the movie. :thumbsup2

in Jersey... :faint:

I'm exhausted... Going to catch up tomorrow..

btw... I didn't dye my hair yet... :scared1::scared1::scared1: (Em's gonna kill me...)

Jackie...that's a great picture!!

Their mom is a professional photographer!

Just arrived in Baltimore (actually a suburb...)

Had dinner at Cracker Barrel - first time... it was good.. had the Friday fish Fry...

Went back and forth about coloring the hair... leaving it for a bit. it's late.. and I don't care tonight... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Will take lots of pics.. must be awake and over to the arena early... I'll take pics of course...

Tyler loves Cracker Barrel. He has trouble with the name though, and calls it Crackle Barrel. :rotfl2:

Have a great time, Michelle! :thumbsup2

By the time I got the front yard mowed tonight, bugs were starting to come out, so I have to do the back yard tomorrow, plus a whole bunch of other stuff we need to get done. First time mowing this year, so it took a REALLY long time to get the mower started, tons of trying and trying to start it. I hate that first time of the year.

We both loved, loved, loved Pirates of the Caribbean 4! It's my new favorite! :goodvibes

Our cat let himself outside today. So now we have to keep the screen doors locked when the heavy door is open. Good grief!

Sleeping in tomorrow to get rested up for tons of chores that need to be done this weekend. Yuck.

Busy weekend then Holly!!! Is you cat an indoor cat then?

I have had good and not so good at Cracker Barrel, but mostly it is about what I choose to eat. Those noodles with the chicken are disgusting!!! Glad you are there safe and sound and well enough to go out to eat!!!!!!!!!!

Next time I suggest that I go on a trip with my family....

TALK ME OUT OF IT!!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

I can't find one of my bags... NEVER trust the bell staff in this hotel...(which last night... were my brothers...

I'm thinking it's sitting on the couch at home. I hope it is.. until then... I hope I like the shampoo here at the hotel...

FOUND IT!!!! :worship::worship::worship:

It was under one of my other bags... :sad2:

Yes, he's an indoor cat. He likes to go outside to roll on the driveway or sidewalk.

I like the beef stew at Cracker Barrel. I agree with you Marilyn about the noodles and chicken.

Cracker Barrel has many things that I enjoy....but I really like the Hashbrown casserole =)

i went this morning to the German Bakery with Will, Mickey & a few others. Will, Mick & I spent the rest of the day together. Got home right before the Rapture, and sprayed the weeds in my lawn (getting it ready to mow tomorrow), came inside, and found out that I was left behind. Oh well, I guess that means I DO have to mow the lawn tomorrow :upsidedow (I'll gladly do it IF I win the lottery tonight :lmao:) <----- I will also pay for Cheri & I to have a balcony on the Hawaii cruise!!
