went through 3 more boxes today, emptied them out & even broke them down so they're ready for recycling day next week!

:cool1:  :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

Of course - I now have a headache....too much paper dust.

17 or 18.....now I'm jealous too.....hahaha. I want to do another Western Carribbean. I loved it and missed doing Cozumel because we did Tulum on the mainland, which we loved and would do again. It's the only beach that John will go to because the sand is like baby powder. Anyway, I really hope she gets well enough to travel tomorrow. Lots of pixie dust blowing her way. Keep us updated please. Thanks.

Oh, she's not going until 2 weeks from tomorrow, so she'll be fine. The worry was because last time her lungs acted up, she wound up in the hospital for 2 weeks. That would be cutting it too close to her cruise date if that were to happen this time. I texted with her today and the docs started her on a Zpack right away yesterday morning and she's already starting to feel better, fortunately. :thumbsup2 She just always has to avoid people with colds because a simple cold for us turns into very serious issues for her, and our office manager has a cold, so we think she got sick from her.

NEXT weekend (the 23rd-25th) is a working weekend for me. I'm doing things with the leisure agency that I work through.....

here's what's planned:
FRI 9/23/11 – Royal Caribbean Monarch of the Seas Site Visit and evening at Universal Studios.
SAT 9/24/11 – 9:00am- 2:00pm WDW Site Inspections (4-5 resorts, and lunch at Whispering Canyon).
SUN 9/25/11 – Disney Dream ship tour already CONFIRMED including lunch onboard.

We had a "training" weekend a few months ago that included a tour of the Dream, Universal Hotels, tickets & meal plan to the Universal parks, ride on a Mardi Gras parade float (I didn't do this), Disney hotel tours & lunch too (didn't do these). I did the Dream & Universal stuff that time.

This time, I'm taking the Friday off from the "real" job & doing everything.

Wow! Sounds wonderful!!!

Hope Jan feels better quickly!

Still awake & eventhough I'm tired, my body doesn't feel like it's ready to go to sleep. I will be getting of the computer shortly so that I can "unfocus" my mind.

Me too...

Just spent 6 hours trying to change the dates on a document only to find out it is encrypted and we can't email it to anyone... :headache::headache::headache:

Sharing a Sydney story that my sister told me tonight....

David was stunned to have his first encounter with a suitor of Sydney’s asking him for her hand in marriage. The four-year-old boy approached David this afternoon at preschool and said “Sydney’s Dad, may I marry Sydney?” David wasn’t quite ready for this. But, are dads every really ready?

She said that this little boy asked HER this earlier this week....he went up to her and said "Sydney's Mom, may I marry Sydney?" to which she replied "if you wait a long time, and you love each other, yes you can"

found out tonight that abc cancelled "Brothers & Sisters".

I hate it when the networks cancel shows w/o letting the show finish it's story lines.

Gotta watch out with those pre school and kindergarden romances... Brian had a girlfriend in kindergarden.. before his brother did in 6th grade!!!

I heard that last year... they sort of filmed the wedding just in case they got picked up again... I will miss it.

Deb--I see what you mean. I knew you would know best. Even if you make the WW meal time 4 and pad the boys' meals and John's with pasta you do not eat, that may be more trouble and cost.

They are blessed to have you and John as stable adults who are always relaible.

Have a good day!
Jan

Thanks for saying that, but isn't that what family is for? I'm not doing anything that you wouldn't do for your boys.

I question why their mother isn't doing it for them. But as long as she is not, then it's up to me and John to help out. The sad part is that we gave her a helping hand when she needed it when the boys were young. Now she won't give it back to her own kids....it's up to us to do it again. Go figure!

OH OK.....good thing she has two weeks then. Let's hope it's enough for her to completely recover and still have time to go home and pack.....and then enjoy her cruise.

This is such a sweet story.....how adorable!!!!

I have to say, I too was married before. I married the boy next door when I was four. Not sure if I told John about that one. Oops. hahaha.

I AGREE!!!!! I loved that show. But when Rob Lowe left it was all over for me. I couldn't see Kitty dating a guy so much younger than her still in college. She had a baby for goodness sake and she was into politics. She should not have gone backwards and so soon after her husband died. It didn't work for me.

I think they definitely should have ended the story line before cancelling the show. This is Desperate Housewives last season too. So hopefully they will end the story before it goes off the air.

My plans for today are to soak my leg in the tub with epsom salt.....we're starting that again. Ugh!

I started the antibiotics yesterday and have a doctor appointment on Wednesday.....back to pain and vicodin. At least Tom can drive me and John doesn't have to take off of work.
